I purchased this to use for camping to avoid the inevitable tripping over tent ropes. This cord glows brightly enough that at night it is visible to help with walking around the staked items and NOT tripping over the ropes. During the day, the sun charges the rope and the color is very visible to help avoid the same situation during the day. Versus the black, green or brown standard ropes that usually blend into the surroundings that trying to snag everyone, this cord is very visible.
