If you are looking for a minimal training shoe with just a touch of added padding and support this is a good shoe. I've been using the Merrel Trail glove for years. They are comparable to this shoe but the Minimus has a bit more padding in the heel and mid sole which helps smooth out the run training if you are a heel striker. My one disappointment is that the tongue of the shoe is a bit flimsey and there is no removable insole but these are minor complaints that are not noticeable once the shoe is on. ... show more
