I've only had these for a week. They fit well and are easy to walk around town in. You won't want to walk around on dirt surfaces if the ground is damp. The sole tread pattern is a mud magnet and difficult to clean in this situation.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes in 8 1/2 Extra Wide since 1983. They have always fit- until now. I walk a lot, and I wear out a lot of walking shoes (probably 3 pair a year.) The last two pair I have bought had to be sent back and exchanged for 9 Extra Wide. My feet have not changed- apparently New Balance is having them manufactured in a different facility with a different last. I highly recommend New Balance shoes, but don't be surprised if you have to go up a half-size over what you've worn in the past. ... show more
