I bought these shoes for my husband after reviewing them on different sites. It’s so hard to find a good looking shoe for people with foot problems. My husband has planters fasciitis, tendinitis and extremely flat feet. He wakes up in the morning limping in pain and his day as a personal trainer is hell on his feet. No joke, these shoes changed his life. He has a bunion on each big toe that also causes pain so the wide width helps so much. He wears orthotics for his arches and they fit in the shoe perfectly. This is the very first shoe that he can wear all day working out and being on his feet that actually don’t hurt him after the first hour. We bought the shoe in three different colors so he can alternate them. It is the only shoe he can wear at this point. Everything else hurts him. Not to mention our 18-year-old son thought they looked pretty cool and wanted a pair himself. Every other shoe for people with foot problems look like big square grandpa shoes. Also, he wears a size 14 wide so it’s very hard to find shoes. I highly recommend these for anyone who needs a comfortable shoe! And if you have foot pain.....get these! ... show more

Im a woman with really wide feet. After having 3 kids, they just became super wide. I decided to get men's shoes bc they're more comfy. I love these shoes. The toe box is perfect, and theyre super light weight. They're perfect for the gym and casual wear. Im not sure how they are with running, since I don't run anymore I bought the gray and black ones at the same tine. My only problem is the gray ones are bigger than the black OR the black ones are smaller than the gray? They are both 7.5, so there's inconsistency with the sizing. The gray ones are still comfy even though they are a little bigger. ... show more

    • Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn without a question

These shoes are awesome, I was going to write a review the second I tried them on because they are literally the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, but thought I would wait until I went for a run in them first (that's what I bought them for). They are super easy to get on and off with leaving them tied. This is due to the fabric the shoe is made out of, the built in tongue, and high heel tab. Mine are tied super tight and they slipped on and off with great ease, but do not feel like they are going to come off while wearing them. The sole is fairly wide and very soft and cushiony. This was great for running, I like these way better than my Nike's. They are also well vented, I could feel the cool air flowing through the shoe as I was running outside. They fit as expected. I wear a 13 in Nikes, but I have found I wear a 12 for every other shoe company. These were no different, the 12 fit perfect. I give them a 5 star. The price seemed fair and I was much happier with the product than I thought I would be. If these were Nikes / Adidas, I would guess you could be paying almost double. Thinking about buying a back up pair for when these get trashed. ... show more

    • BUY THESE FOR PLANTAR FASCIITIS!!!

My husband has been suffering with plantar fasciitis for a few years now. He has seen a doctor for treatment several times. Some days he just could not handle being on his feet for a couple hours without severe pain even with prescription sole inserts. We just took a week long trip to Disney world and I knew his feet would be an issue, so I ordered these for him. After 1 week and 70 MILES of walking in Disney... he didnt complain about his feet ONCE!!! He said they were super comfortable and he wore them all day everyday. I’m so relieved our trip went smoothly because I was super worried about the pain he would’ve endured. We highly recommend for plantar fasciitis suffers! They also look very sleek and not very “dad like” as most NB shoes do. He loves them! ... show more

    • OK but larger-than-average toe box
Size: 9.5 Color: Magnet/Black
I normally wear Nike shoes but thought I'd give these a try. I ended up returning them because of some factors that are unique to my foot, and some factors that are more general and may apply to others. 1) Sizing. I've worn Nike size 10 for years, across multiple models. With these, I ended up getting a 10 and a 9.5 and the half size down (9.5) fit much better. 2) The toe box on these is noticeably large. If you have a foot that broadens considerably around the front then these will be great. If not, they'll almost certainly be too loose and you'll slide around. 3) I'm not a fan of attached tongues. 4) There's a balance between the uppers of this type of shoe being flexible so that it conforms to the foot, and stiff so the lacing can have it hug the foot and the overall upper can hold the foot and give stability. My sense is that NB went too far towards flexibility and the result is a shoe that is comfortable when at rest but moves around too much when put under any lateral stress. In the end, I think I'll go back to finding a Nike, they seem to fit my foot better. ... show more

I walk an average of 8-10 miles per day. To find the perfect shoe for that has been a bit of a challenge. I’ve tried Nike, Adidas and Mizuno. All have been ok, but I needed a shoe with a bit more spring in my step. I’ve actually never owned a pair of New Balance shoes, so I really didn’t know much about their shoes. I came across these and, after reading the reviews, I thought I’d give them a try. I figured for the price that I couldn’t go wrong. I was delighted when I put these shoes on. I have a slightly wide foot, so the toe box is perfect, the comfort is great and they have more spring in the step than my Nike Pegasus. I wear a size 9.5D in Nike, but size 9M is a perfect fit in these New Balance shoes. In summary, these are outstanding shoes for what I use them for. ... show more

I love these shoes. It doesnt get much better than New Balance. These shoes put a spring in your step while saving your knees and back from discomfort. If you're hesitant about buying this shoe, don't be. They're worth every dollar.
