The NB Men's 574 V2 Evergreen Sneakers (black/grey) fit comfortably. I have very flat feet, (fallen arches) so toe room and an arch support that is mild, is the best for me personally. I can feel the arch support with the inserts that come with these, and they feel ok, Not really hard or pronounced like some sneakers I recently tried before buying these that actually were uncomfortable to wear for longer than an hour. They had just enough room in the toe area so my pinky toe wasn't rubbing, which is an issue I hate with those pointy toed sneaker brands. They have a nice rubber sole that has a very grippy tread design that make them good for outdoor activities. They also don't really require any break in time, other than getting used to wearing brand new sneakers after wearing old worn out ones for years, like I did. (Lol. I get attached to things I own) They are very nice looking if you prefer a sneaker that doesn't have all those fancy color patterns like a bag of skittles wild berry, and like something that can be worn with just about any color clothing. That's if fashion means something to you. I like things that are stylish but not loud, so these were perfect. I recommend them if want a comfortable sneaker with really good tread grip, and only need the basic arch support and don't have any medical conditions requiring high arch shoes. ... show more

This is a great shoe. Comfortable for the most part out of the box (in my head). Except for one problem, I bought an 8 4E due to my wide feet, maybe I'm confused about 4E's meaning, but these were WAY too big! Bummed. Sending them back. Now what? Updated review. I sent back the pair that was too big, for a smallwr size and I have to say, these shoes are pretty amazing! My running days are over many years distance running wore oyt my knees (have arthritis in both of them) but these are grest for long working hours on mostly cement . I work 4 10 hour days and these shoes, shoes before these other brands, except foe a pair of Hokas , my feet would be so sore after 10 hours every day until getting these and its the best choicr I could have made. These are comfortable pretty much out of the box didnt need much break in. My feet don't hurt AT ALL anymore I'm ordering 2nd pair soon! You can't go wrong with these!!! ... show more

I bought these sneakers for my 18 year old son who has autism. I say that because if something doesn't fit him and it's too tight he won't tell me because he doesn't have the capability of doing so, so I always have to try to feel all around his foot and see how they fit is. He has a new obsession with sneakers so I insisted on buying him a brand new sneaker collection LOL. However, when I got the size that he originally is it was too small so I ordered a size up and it fit him perfect. Actually I ordered a half size up on these sneakers and on a different color I ordered a whole size up. I would say the half size and the whole size both fit him good with the whole size up he had quite a bit extra room but not to the point of uncomfortability. I went to half size up it seem to fit him just wright. The material is gorgeous it's even nicer in person than it is in the pictures I was not expecting these sneakers to be all that nice they are beautiful sneakers and I plan on ordering every single color for my son!     • They’re so comfortable, but I wish they wouldn’t wear out
The unfortunate thing with all of these kind of new balance shoes, is that the padding in them wears out overtime and starts to deform. I buy these shoes because they’re perfect for the shape of my feet but after they start to wear down after a few months, it becomes painful again, and I have to buy a new pair. I really wish that I could Own a pair of shoes for multiple years or that these just came with replaceable linings where I wouldn’t have to go third-party ... show more

Bought this for the retro style but surprised by the comfort. The extra width at the toe met my expectations. The inner sole cushion and the fit seems good. The only potential issue is that it's not as stable as my 990v4 or my other running shoes. I compared the width of the footprint to my other shoes, and it definitely has a narrow profile at the heel area. Will have to evaluate it further, but it's a minor issue since I bought it primarily for its looks. ... show more
