I bought the 10.5 in gray and really like the fit, they fit as a 10.5 usually does for me. I like the heavier duty top mesh material over the toe area. My other brand shoe is more expensive than these by far and has a lighter mesh and my toes wear holes in that area in short time. The more expensive Brooks shows are more conformable than these but I think these will last me longer. One thing I don't like it the foam padding within the achilles support get bunched up and requires you to use your finger to help foot in. This area should have been made stiffer maybe so it holds its shape better? ... show more

love the look and feel of the shoe, have done 4 short runs on it now and its very comfortable. I normally wear an 11.5 for most shoes. Went 12 on this one b/c I read other comments and I'm happy I did. my big toe still touches the front of shoe but it's not noticeable at all due to the flexibility the shoe has, in fact I kinda feel more secure in it. This is the second time I have ordered these shoes in the past few months. I have worn this model since the first version ( now V7 ) and have always worn the same size. I sent the last pair back because they were too small. I ordered the same shoes (different color), same size, thinking the last orders sizing problem was a fluke. Nope, the new pair were just as small as the previous ones. I thought maybe it's my feet and not the shoes, but I still wear the same size in all other shoes. I went to a store to try on some other New Balance models and they were all too small. I tried going up to the next size and they were too big. I mistakenly ordered these in the wrong size. Unfortunately, they are not available in the size I need with this color, which is a shame because I love the color. I must have looked at 100 different shoes, and this style and color was the only one that I really wanted. Oh well.

I liked the design of the shoe and sole. I returned them because I didn't want so much mesh in the shoe as I intended to wear them in spring and fall as well as in warmer weather. If the mesh uppers are OK with you, these look like fine shoes. Recommended.

This is my fourth New Balance 410 purchase over a 10-year period. Only the colors have changed. The size 10 4E shoe fits my foot perfectly and it gets plenty of use through hiking, walking, and other casual wear. My only suggestion to buyers is to replace the insert with a new one. I use Dr. Shole's, but any decent one with an arch does me fine. ... show more
