This plate fits over existing thermostat with no need to remove the thermostat from the wall. Simply place the Nest in the plate and attach to the wall with included materials. Will fit 2nd and 3rd gen Thermostats Each wall plate is hand made here in the USA!! With that each wall plate will be different in grain pattern but this will have no affect on quality!
