Purchased as a fix for a lost kayak cover, for which I have been unable to locate an exact replacement. Rubber is as described and is sufficient to seal open hatch. Only time will tell how well it will work. If you need a large gasket, this is the stuff. I could possibly use it as a valve cover gasket. It is definitely thick enough. Worked great for what I needed. Had rocks flipping up on the mower deck from the back wheels. These rocks would get stuck in the belt and make it fall off. I used the rubber to make upside down mud flaps I guess. Arkansas grows rocks in the yard I think!

This is just a HARD rubber sheet. You can cut it with scissors but not easily. I expected something softer since it says neoprene. Nope just very hard rubber.
