This Projector is just ok even for the price. It's light and cheap and isn't native 1080p tho supports it. I find the best resolution for picture quality to be 1280x768, the true native resolution. This resolution also supports 60hz making it slightly better if you game on it. Focus is just ok with the edges being soft at any resolution and worse with higher resolutions. The focus ring is about as smooth as rusty skateboard bearings. The keystone adjustment works as expected. The color adjustment settings are a joke, the projector is heavily biased green even with the saturation turned down. Color adjustments seem to do nothing or not enough to compensate for the over-saturation of the color green. Brightness and contrast seem to work decently enough... I would say the brightness is "very good for the price". Sharpness, noise reduction, and other settings I have not tested. With all that said, it works decently for what I use it for, watching video content and light gaming from my PC. I can overcome most of the color shortcomings with software, but I have to live with the soft focus and slow response time. DO NOT get this as a gaming projector, the response time is just too slow for anything competitive and you will be disappointed. Get this projector for watching medium-quality video content. :edit: As of 12/28, this projector has developed a hotspot likely due to polarizer damage, and additionally I failed to mention in my original review about the intermittent fan whine. I fear this unit will fail within a few hundred more hours of use. The seller did reach out and offer some compensation for my initial review, so as it stands, this remains at 3 stars. ... show more

Update (old review below): so, the build quality is still okay at best, but with some effort, this thing will surprise you! 1- ditch the screen it comes with. I mixed up a light gray, matte paint and painted a 130” screen on my wall. Bough black painters tape to paint and used again to make the border. 2- buy a hanger or stand that gets the projector as close the the center (height-wise) of the screen as you can. If you’re too low or too high the top/bottom will be a bit blurry. The picture quality at 120” is watchable, but only clear-ish in the center of the screen. I tried to thread it to an overhead hanger and the brass thread snapped in have. That said, this was bought to be an outdoor projector, so we didn’t want to spend a ton of money on it. It gets the job done, but you’ll want to buy something higher end if you’re going to use this as a primary screen. I was pleasantly surprised by the screen that was included. At the price point I assumed it’d be some sort of material I’d have to iron to get creases out of. But it’s actually cloth and decent quality. ... show more

We just received the unit. We did unbox the unit and tried it out inside the house. It does get a little warm. We were unsuccessful connecting our Android phone. The setup password the unit stated to use in the mirroring setup doesn't work. The app recommended as a second option wasn't found in Android app store. But so far the hdmi works well with our laptops. Haven't tried usb connect yet. The brightness is good on the unit and the picture is clear for 1080p. The speaker is decent sounds a bit hollow, But overall not bad. I would definitely suggest have an external speaker setup if using it outside. I was disappointed in the supplied 120 screen. I was hoping it came with a stand. So you would definitely have to have a place to hang the projector screen. No stand included. I would also recommend a small cooling fan as well to help keep the projector cool outdoors and some kind of shade. As I mentioned above it does it warm after about 5 or 10 minutes. About the same temperature as a gaming laptop or warmer. Keeping it cool will help extend the life of the projector. The internal fan does work but just okay. The fan is a bit loud but not so much you can enjoy the viewing from the unit. It will become background noise after awhile and you probably won't notice it after awhile. Haven't tried it outside yet we had to order a projector stand kit. So can't comment on it's clarity. ... show more

    • Good picture quality but Screen Sharing does not work
I tried setting this up for screen sharing from my phone two ways, connected to my wifi and with the phone connected to the projector's wifi. Neither worked. The sound played through the projector's speaker, but no video, even with non-copyrighted YouTube videos. So that was a big bummer. You also cannot connect a phone, ipad or laptop via Bluetooth to project content. Another bummer since it says Bluetooth all over the description. But, with a thumbdrive plugged into the side, the picture was clear and bright, even on my stuccoed wall. I imagine it will look even better on the included screen fabric. This was at night, outside. Have not tried it indoors during the day. IT would be nice if it came with some sort of case to protect it when not in use, but at least it has a piece of foam that fits it and the box it came in. At well under $200, I'd say it does what I want, but you can probable get a better one for more money. ... show more

The projector is really nice. I have it hanging from the ceiling and a screen on the wall on the other side of the living room. I play Nintendo switch with the kids on it and use my fire stick. It is an amazing alternative to buying a big TV for thousands of dollars and if you have kids like me don't have to worry about anything if you hang it from the ceiling. Good projector but the quality is 8/10 If you want to mount it on the wall you would need to buy the mount separately does not come with. The speaker is not that loud so you would need to add more speakers and the Wi-Fi connection deletes every time you turn it off. But besides that good bang for your buck. It gets the job done ... show more
