While the brightness is just ok unless you’re in a completely dark room, the ability to focus edge to edge does not exist. In a business environment you need text to be in focus regardless of where it is on the screen. This is simply not an option with this projector. If dead center of the screen is completely in focus, then the further you move to the edge of the screen, the less in focus and the less sharp everything becomes. Is that important in a movie? Well, no. In a PowerPoint or Excel presentation, absolutely. Also, I have yet to figure out how a 1080 device can magically display 4K. It CAN’T. No matter how you cut it, you can’t make a device suddenly display 4X the resolution. If you have this connected to a computer with a solid 4K graphics card, the maximum resolution you are presented with is 1080. If you want a business class projector, which will also give you mind blowing cinema quality movies in a room with the lights on, then you’re going to have to spend $1K on a true 4K projector that can focus edge to edge like an Optoma or ViewSonic. I am returning this unit as I did purchase an Optoma and the quality difference was truly staggering. ... show more

Had to play around within the picture settings to get the best out of the video. Still, not the most vivid picture. Its picture is softer visually all around than other budget projectors ive reviewed. No irregularities like dead pixels, dust or dirt visible. Has the quietest fan and runs the coolest of all ive reviewed. If the silly little speaker in these things means anything to anyone, it is the loudest and clearest. It suffers from focus issues top, bottom and corners like all budget LED projectors, exacerbated by the use of the tilting lens keystone control. Overall though, id say this is the most refined of the budget projectors. Control panel buttons are backlit brightly in blue, and in standby, it is way too bright. May be overpowering to some. Thankfully this crazy blue lighting dims down in run mode. Strangely, the projector doesnt remember the last input when started, defaulting to the menu screen, so youll be using the remote every time you fire it up. Unnecessary, but not a deal breaker for me. The remote is just ok, although youll go a little crazy trying to get the battery cover off. Its not the typical sliding cover. I do have to keep reminding myself this projector is only a couple hundred bucks, and i paid almost that for the Harmony remote in my theater alone. ... show more

I am honestly blown away at how bad this picture quality is. I saw so many reviews raving about it. But this is absolutely not worth even having. You're better off spending a little bit more money and getting a much better projector. I'll be returning this one for sure.

WiFi feature does not connect to your WiFi like a tv so do not purchase thinking this is a smart TV. Screen mirroring only works when hard lined - WiFi screen mirroring tries to work but never actually connects. Just hangs there. My audio went out mid movie and never came back, no matter what setting I try - even tried my own hard wired speakers and tester all settings. Nothing. Picture is pretty good but I’m definitely returning this immediately. I am literally a computer tech and this thing sucks from a user friendly perspective. Average person will not have fun with this. My recommendation (not that it matters) DO NOT BUY unless you live close to a place where you can return it. ... show more

I didn’t have much hope for such an affordable projector, but it is 10 times better than the $80 I tried earlier this year. Picture is great for animated movies so far. Functionality has been great. Easy to plug in and go. Menus worked well. Instructions were done well enough. Haven’t tried all features but for fire stick and plugged in speaker, it worked great. Native speaker worked fine too. Had it at 115” and looked great on just a tan-painted wall. Seems pretty bright but not sure how it would be in full daylight. Worked fine during sunset. Great job, Ailessom! ... show more

Update: after using it a few times- it’s really too bulky and inconvenient to use. Some movies are nice quality, but the others impossible to watch. Not worth the money spent. I like to have a couple of projectors in my house so that there is no need to move them around. This one is great for our living room, easy control, and nice quality.
