    • Not 1/2. Actually 0.475" or 31/64"
I am sure glad I measured these before I started drilling because 1/2" bit would be too loose. I will have to find a 31/64" bit for these 0.475" diameter eyebolts. Otherwise, they seem well made and are straight, which is not a given these days.

    • Misleading, not 1/2" read the fine print. 7/16.
I get shrinkflation, but how someone can get away with headlining a 7/16" as 1/2" reminds me this is America, and here we must read the fine print.

The threads definitely are unusable for the last inch or so on two out of the three bolts I ordered. They aren’t carved deep enough. Also, there was some hardened material I suspect to have been molten steel or something on one of the bolts for at least an inch or so in spots here & there. QC needed for sure. ... show more

Perfect for my needs (replacing eye bolt in turnbuckle). The quality seems good. I sprayed some WD-40 to encourage it and it worked a treat.
