  • Great book for my grandson.
My grandson is 4 and LOVES dinosaurs. He is a smart little guy and can pronounce the complicated names with very few mistakes. He takes his book to his parents and tells them all about the dinosaurs pictured. Of course, his parents (my son and daughter-in-law) are not only proud of his intelligence, they indulge is love of dinosaurs. He has curtains and a bedspread printed with dinosaurs. This book is highly recommended for its detailed pictures in color, the careful and accurate explanations of the dinosaur, and the phonetical spelling of their names so a child of any age can learn to pronounce them. Next year, a dinosaur encyclopedia for a child. ... show more

  • Great book, a tad flimsy
The media could not be loaded. We love the national geographic books for little kids. Super engaging for my neurodivergent 4yo who loves to learn about each dinosaur and be able to name and recognize them. My 2yo loves it too. The pages are a tad flimsy, but we haven't had any rip out unless it's intentional. We've gotten a fair amount of these types of books from the library and they're all the same - flimsy but still mostly in tact. I added a video for a quick flip through. ... show more

  • Great, informative book for older toddlers / younger kids
This book has been a fan favorite for my 4yo son! He really enjoys reading and re-reading. He reads it often on his own and without prompting. The pages do rip if you’re not careful. But the amount of information is definitely worth it.
