  • Neat
Color: Piplup
It's a bit of a challenge to start each section of the piece. And the steps are a little confusing at times since it has you do the assembling in layers basically. So getting the first and second together is annoying, and I found the head especially really fragile until about half way done. It kept coming undone. I guess if you simply stick it on a table and assemle it it might be easier, but the pieces are so small it feels more natural to hold it. idk But the the end result is really cute. Saw these the first time and didn't like them, but saw them again and kind of did. And in person I actually love them. ... show more

  • A fun and cute project, even if a bit fragile
Color: Sylveon
If you've done other Pokemon Nanoblocks, this one is pretty standard! I always find it's easiest to empty all the bags and sort the pieces before starting. But in any case, this one doesn't take too long to assemble. Maybe an hour or so? The end result is very cute! However, Sylveon's ribbons are a chain of pieces that are barely hanging on to something. When it's sitting still, this is no problem at all. However, if someone tries to pick it up and look at it, the ribbons can easily fall off if they aren't careful. You'll want to look into Nanoblock glue if you leave it in a spot where others will inevitably grab it. Totally worth it! These things are so satisfying to assemble! ... show more

  • Great product, use glue tho
Color: Mimikyu
I have to shoo people away when they want to touch the finished product as the ears and tail fall off very easily. It's amazing that it came with extra pieces in case you need more! Colored instructions, sad it didn't come with the pad to build on, so I had to spend a little extra on getting a building pad. ... show more

  • Nevermind, I'm dumb! (Edited post about missing parts)
Color: Grookey
Originally I wrote this review saying I was missing several of the required parts, like an abnormal amount for a lego set defect. Even though I had looked pretty thoroughly for any bags of parts I misplaced, it just so happened that literally less than a minute after I posted my 1-star review that I found the missing bag of parts... My bad! The kit is fun to build, but the instructions could be a little clearer on some sections. There is a part where you are building layers of the head and one layer of new parts entirely covers the last step's layout so it is damn near impossible to tell where to start putting the new parts. Other than that 1 step the kit was easy enough to do, and turned out very well. ... show more

  • Happy 6 year old
Color: Piplup
I sent this Nanoblock Pokemon Penguin in a birthday card from Oregon to Tennessee for our grandson. Our daughter said he was so excited. I do not recommend this for very small children because the pieces are tiny. I would say half, or even smaller. than regular size Legos.

  • Very delicate
Color: Rayquaza
It was kind of frustrating to put together compared to other models because it is very delicate, it took around 90 minutes to complete, directions are easy to follow. I have it sitting on a high shelf out of the way because if anything bumps it, it will come apart.

  • Really cool but instructions suck
Color: Charmander
I bought one for me and my girlfriend, and we love them so much but the process to assemble took us forever. We eventually had to look up videos on YouTube to figure it out.

  • It looks cool but there is one issue
Color: Grodou
It was mostly fun to put together, except for the arms. Arms are a serious issue with Nanoblock sets- they kept falling apart. It probably took as long to assemble those two small pieces as the rest of the set combined. But once I got it together, it was basically stable and easy to transfer to my shelf- the body feels very solidly-built. And it looks really, really cool. Overall, I'd suggest starting out with four-legged Pokemon like the Eeveelutions because they are much less frustrating to work on and move your way up. ... show more
