  • Love this product
I filed the first layer of my nail polish and then put this on and it was easy to scrape off! Finally a product that works for removing gel polish easy.

  • Works.
ITEM: AL'IVER Gel Nail Polish Remover (0.5 fl. oz/15mL) PROS: It does work faster than soaking in acetone to remove gel polish. Sometimes you can see it cause the gel polish to almost immediately shrink & flake off. Other times, you may need to apply & remove the gel polish in seeming layers. CONS: Try not to let the removed layers touch your skin. I may just be ultra sensitive to irritants right now, because my skin hates the summer months. So when I was getting the little bits of removed flakes on my hand & leg, I could feel them irritating my skin (though not causing any actual redness or reaction). FINAL THOUGHTS: It's important to break the cured seal of the top coat or whatever first, since this remover needs to reach the layers underneath. Sometimes you can feel the gel polish feel like it's tightening around the nail bed as this remover works to break the bonds. Some reactions occured within seconds of application, while other nails required application & removal in layers. It was still way faster & less damaging than soaking in acetone forever. ... show more

  • Worked better than expected
Just started doing gel nails at home but I really loathe the removal process. This product worked much better than I anticipated. I sanded down my gel polish so that the shiny layer was completely removed. I painted one coat of product onto my nails and waited about 7 minutes. I did experience a ‘tightening’ sensation on my nails (which according to the directions is normal). The gel polish didn’t peel open like it did for other reviewers, but I used a metal cuticle pusher to gently scrape the gel polish off my nails. It definitely made the polish much softer and easier to remove and in my estimate much faster than waiting more than 30 minutes to soak my nails in acetone. I think this product would be even more effective if you take your time to remove as much as the gel polish off with a course grit file prior to applying the remover. I also think it may be better to wait 10 minutes. After removal I cleaned up my nail with acetone and a buffer block to remove any remaining bits in my nails, followed by some cuticle oil. Overall my nails were significantly less damaged than with the acetone method. I did have to do a second application on two of my nails because I didn’t want to scrape too hard and risk the damage. Overall I highly recommend using this over the acetone/foil method. ... show more

  • please don't buy this!
i bought this product because the usual acetone soak-off method seemed a little too lengthy & complicated when i started doing my own nails. i recently stopped using any kind of tips on my nails in an effort to grow them out naturally & upon doing so, i began using this product to take the gel polish off of my natural nail. it's extremely uncomfortable just as the other reviews suggest, but i personally didn't find it unbearable. what it did do, though, was cause some kind of reaction in my fingers! even after it was taken off & i had polished over it, it would cause my fingers to swell, burn, & itch. the residue from whatever chemicals this thing contains is somehow sticking to my nails &, i believe, causing them to come up from the bed while fraying at my cuticles. it's uncomfortable, painful, & quite terrifying. i've taken to soaking my hands a couple times a day, but it does little to quell the pain & the infection-like reaction happing in the scabs under my nails. please do yourself a favor & stay far, FAR away from this product. it is not worth the integrity of your nails! ... show more

  • ⭐️ Disappointed with my purchase ⭐️
After trying out the Gel Nail Polish Remover, I have mixed feelings about its performance, leading me to give it a 3-star rating. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Efficiency: The claim that it removes gel nail polish in 3-5 minutes is accurate. I appreciated the quickness of the process compared to traditional methods. It definitely saves time and effort, which is a big plus. Ease of Use: The product is straightforward to use, and the instructions provided are clear. Simply apply the remover as directed, wait for the recommended time, and then gently scrape off the gel polish. It's a relatively simple process that anyone can follow. Gentleness on Nails: I was pleased that the remover didn't seem to cause any damage to my nails or cuticles. It didn't leave them feeling overly dry or brittle, which can sometimes happen with harsher removers. This gentle approach is definitely a positive aspect of the product. However, there are a couple of drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a higher rating: Strong Odor: The remover has a strong chemical odor that I found quite off-putting. Despite using it in a well-ventilated area, the smell lingered for a while afterward. This could be a concern for individuals with sensitivity to strong scents. Effectiveness on Stubborn Polish: While the remover works well on regular gel polish, I found it less effective on stubborn or glitter gel polishes. It required multiple applications and longer soaking times to completely remove these types of polishes, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, the Gel Nail Polish Remover is a decent product that delivers on its promise of quick and easy gel polish removal. However, the strong odor and limitations in removing stubborn polish prevent me from giving it a higher rating. ... show more
