    • This stuff works great!
I'm guessing the people who put negative reviews for this just didn't do it right because when you follow the directions it is awesome. I'm going to do a step-by-step here of what worked for me. First step, if the gunk is cold then you need to warm it up. The directions say you can place it in some warm water or rub it between your hands. I stuck it in my bra while I read the directions. Consistency was perfect after about five minutes. I'm pointing this out because I think it's important and could be another cause of the other complaints about the product if the users didn't warm it up first. Next, wash your face with clarifying face wash (I literally used dish soap because I had heavy moisturizer on). Next, use the included towelettes to wipe the area where you will be using the product and dry thoroughly. Also, the directions say to NOT do this right after a shower because something about your skin being too soft or something. Not a problem here. I did not shower before, but just thought I would point that out because that could be another reason it didn't work for other people. After the towelette, thoroughly dry the skin. I used this for my eyebrows only. The directions also say your hairs need to be a certain length for this to work. Again, no problem here because mine were lookin' straight sasquatch - quite long. But, again, could be another reason it didn't work for some people. When you're ready to begin, have a good magnifying mirror, preferably with a light, unless you can see really good up close, which I can't. I bought one here on Amazon when I bought this stuff, and I got some awesome tweezers too. I'll try to find links and post them. The mirror has a USB plug. Perfect. Anyway, I digress. So, take the tube of gunk (now warmed by your body heat) and twist the end several times until you see it start to come out of the tube. This next part is important, apply it to the hairs you want to remove IN THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS, meaning from the roots to the ends. Next, quickly take the little fabric strip and place it over the gunk and rub it 3 to 4 times in one direction, THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS - not back and forth, just one direction from roots to ends sort of smoothing it down into the gunk. Third, grab the strip of fabric with one hand and place your other hand on the skin to hold it taut and quickly rip it off the OPPOSITE direction - meaning, grab the strip at the ends of the hairs, not the root end. You pull AGAINST THE DIRECTION THE HAIR GROWS. This is VERY important and I know could be a reason that it didn't work for other people because I accidentally did this more than once. No hairs came off on the strip when I yanked and then I realized I had yanked from the root end, not the other end and the hair did not come out. If you do it right and yank in the correct direction, like magic, all of your hair will come out and be stuck to the fabric strip. The strips are reusable and the gunk is water soluble and just washes off so if you accidentally get it where you don't want to remove your hair you can just wash it off and start over. You rinse the strips when you're done too and it comes right out. I don't know what this stuff is made out of, but for me it worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier. And way less of a pain in the arse than trying to melt actual wax and have it be the right temperature and all that. No way!     • Amazing wax, the best ever
My daughter bought this product and this is her review: I absolutely love this wax product, as someone who has very sensitive skin and eczema as well, i have tried multiple wax products and with different types of wax and how it comes and this product right here is the best one. With other wax products, i tend to get redness and sometimes even damaged and irate my skin but with this one, i don’t ever do so and i love it. It is actually so easy to wax, the strips are a bit longe for my liking so i just cut them in half and honestly it’s perfect and gives me more strip to use. I can even go over the same area 2-3 more times if needed without any irritation. The pen in the wax can get messy but honestly not a deal breaker since any wax can get messy. I have bought this product like 3-4 times and i love it every-time, I do try other wax products still but do always go back to this one as this one is my go to ... show more

This stuff is amazing! I got this today and tried it out on my eyebrows. This does need heated up before use or the wax does not apply well. I did put it in the microwave for 15 seconds even though instructions say not to do so. You could probably put it in your pocket or warm in up in your hands. The hair all went in one go! I didn’t need to do multiple passes over the same area! No hair is left where I waxed! I’d definitely recommend this product! ... show more

    • THIS IS AMAZING AND IT DOES WORK IF YOU DO IT RIGHT.
I no longer go to get my eyebraws waxed because I do it myself with this product, I was not going get this only because of the reviews but I read a few very detailed reviews and followed every step any oh my gosh I was so pleased at the results. The most important thing is it must be warm so I but it in my bra and rubbed it in hy hands for a few minutes, it was perfect, when you apply the wax you must apply it the way the hair grows and pull the hair off the OPPOSITE WAY and rip it off fast, ( I also found you have to use the side of the strip that is more corce (it might be hard to tell) you will be able to tell. PLZ take your time this will be my second order now and I will order 2 this time. When you first start reading the reviews start with the 5 star ratings only because there so detailed and if you follow her review you will satisfied! I love it, I only wish there were more strips. I had low expectations when purchasing this product. The wax warms easily with body heat but cools quickly. However, I ended up being pleasantly surprised with my results. A tip I highly recommend doing is using a cheap wooden cuticle pusher to apply the wax in more risky areas closer to your actual brow. This method allowed me to spread the wax more precisely.     • Easy application and clean up
Application is easy, able to only apply wax only where it is needed. Didn't seem to take off much hair (eyebrows) at a time, but i may not have applied enough of the wax. The instructions daidnthe cotton clothes could be washed and reused, which is great, but no instructions on the best eay to clean them. The cleaning clothes are great, ans removed excess was afterwards. Not a lot of wax in the application, so not sure how long this will last...maybe a month. Will buy again. ... show more

    • Too complicated.
First of all, I would like to say that I DID read every inch of the instructions and still did not understand how to use it. Obviously you first twist the wax pen and the wax comes out. The problem is that once it starts coming out, there’s no stopping it. The pressure built inside it continues to force it out until you quickly cap the pen, leaving a mess of wax all over it. My second issue is the fact that nowhere in the instructions does it say that you have to let the wax dry before ripping it off. I was just left with a sticky surface on my skin and nothing came out! I even tried waiting a couple minutes for it to “dry” but still, nothing would work. Also, the wax was way too thick to apply evenly on your skin and overall an extremely hard product to use.
