I started with a canvas liner and it started to mildew, even though it said that it wouldn't. Still liked that version because it was heavier, but this one....definitely a worthy replacement. It is light, but the water rolls off much easier. The maganets are strong enough for the porcelain tub. I'm able to use the magnets to attach it to the opposite side of the tub and it dries much faster. I read so many descriptions searching for a soft fabric inner shower liner that would be mold resistant and still ended up with a plastic(y) product. The color is good, the rivets string, it hangs well but it’s not the material I thought I ordered.

The color is a nice, rich dark teal. I think it’s better suited for a larger bathroom that can hold up to a dark color. The width of the curtain also seems to be more than required for my needs. There are too many folds which seems to fill up the area more than it needs to. Makes the bathroom appear to be even smaller than it is. It is definitely a nice, well-constructed sturdy cloth material which I’m sure would not be waterproof just by looking at it. This curtain should probably only be used with an inner waterproof liner. I’m not going to get it wet since other reviews have confirmed suspicions about whether it’s actually waterproof. I’m returning it for another style and brand. Love that it is fabric, not plastic. You can easily throw this in the washing machine when it needs to be washed to prevent mold. I used to buy it from bed bath and beyond, but since they closed I found them here.
