I have tried literally dozens of mirrors and this is the best one. It was very easy to install on my 2022 KTM Duke 390. You don't need to use all the pieces when installing. It doesn't affect the throttle. It doesn't wiggle either which is good. It is quite convex so you get a good view of everything behind you and in the blind spots. Had to find some different bolts and I added a fat rubber washer between the base and the bar-ends, but they hold up pretty well. Definitely pull the mirrors *off* the swivel mounts and apply some lock-tite; I had one mirror shake loose and come off on the freeway. Mirrors are a bit too small for my liking— but they are the exact dimension advertised, so that’s on me. Unfortunately, the size makes everything binary: there’s either something behind me or nothing behind me— any detail beyond that is too difficult to read at a glance. ... show more

Installed on my BMW K1200R and they replaced the bar ends easily. They helped with seeing behind and next to me with less head turning which was great. They have to be checked for tightness as, at speed, they will turn themselves off and are lost (currently buying a second set to replace the mirror that was lost to the highway). It does take a bit of time to get used to the convex, wide angle to know if you have enough room or not but then they help see much more than flat mirrors. ... show more

My son has been running his 2018 Yamaha MT-7 without mirrors for the past couple of months. He got tired of having to tighten the ones that mounted on the handlebar and stuck straight up. They were more of a nuisance than anything. I ordered this set as he wanted something that didn't obstruct or distract his frontal view. I thought this mirror set would be a good substitute to the original ones, as well as enabling him to see what's next to or behind him. The inserts that came with the mirror set, the ones that were supposed to go into the inside end of each side of the handlebar wouldn't work and neither would the long, thin mounting bolts. What we came up with was to do a little machining using my floor model drill press, a vise, drill bits and a Unibit. I stepped drilled the hole in each side mounting piece until reaching the proper hole diameter for the cap screw. You can see in the last photo that we used metric Allen Head Cap Screws to secure the mirror mount to each side of the handlebar. Those mounts came with a spacer but we opted not to use it as it made the mirrors stick out further than necessary. After bolting each mirror mount to each side of the handlebar, we then attached the mirror arms with mirrors, adjusted accordingly and then tightened everything down. Fits Hayabusa very well. You'll need shorter 6mm screws and a couple of washers for each side. These, unlike a lot of mirrors, stay where you put them.
