Then I worried about the installation, but I removed the other control, left one screw that would work for this one. I only have one screw to add. I have not purchased the subscription service that allows storing of the video as I already have other Ring cameras that monitor the garage doors as well as a MyQ camera inside the garage. Easy install but functionality is a little less then what was expected. The keypad only controls a single garage door! My old keypad was able to control both of my doors and I expected this to be able to do the same. I was told by a customer service person that this functionality may be available later but not now because it was such a new item. I'm hoping there will be an update to allow for opening two garage doors with the keypad (note, a second door is controllable through the app). Battery doesn't last very long and glad I purchased a spare for a quick change because the battery takes up to 10 hrs to charge. Lastly, it would be nice to have a more secure way of anchoring the keypad into the base. It's a simple philips screw, which makes it a little TOO easy to be remove/stolen. Maybe a more unique method, like a keypad code to, somehow, release the keypad from the base? I do like the easily usable keypad, camera functionality and ease of entry to the one door I can open with the keypad. ... show more

Initially I had a bad time with this. Install was fine and connecting gave me no issues but then it stopped responding and connecting. Would not open or close garage and disappeared from the app. What scares me is that it just started working. It's been several months now and it has worked flawlessly so I do not know what happened but I hope it never happens again. I was worried about battery life a others have stated but it's been easy for me and I have 3 kids and a wife who use this constantly. It is a pain that you have to remove the entire battery and charge it but it doesn't take too long. Also,, there was concern that the bottom security screw was a simple screw with no security features. This is true but shouldn't really be a concern. however if you are concerned, it is the same size as the security screw in the Ring and I just happened to have a couple of those laying around and put them in no problem (security Torx if I remember correctly). I know no everyone will have these but they are easy and cheap to get if you are worried. ... show more

This video keypad looks nice, and it is easy to install and program. The battery life is short, and the video feed takes a long time to load, so far, I have no issues with the Wi-Fi feed, though I do have an access point in my garage set to 2.4 GHz. When the keypad was initially connected to my garage door, programmed, and set up inside the garage everything worked and it was just the matter to install it on the outside garage door frame.
