  • Great Idea for Deck Board Spacing
I have only used these a bit to space boards on a stair landing but I will use them more once I begin the deck. I really like the variety of sizes so I can experiment and get the spacing I really want.

  • Jig spacer
Size: Green 1/4" (6.4mm)
Was not sure that I was going to need so many resurfacing a deck. However, they really came in handy and did use all 20 at one time keeping the boards straight and gappedappropriately. Would highly recommend.

  • Great spacers
Size: Orange 5/32" (4mm)
I put together a picnic table top using pocket screws and common 2x6 lumber. Needless to say these days the common lumber was twisted or bowed. As I did my best to straighten the lumber as the top went together I would use the spacers to keep my gap between boards. Much of the time the spacer would be jammed in between the lumber and I’d have to use hammer claw to get them out and they didn’t fail, nice and durable. One lesson I did learn putting the table top together was to leave the spacers in place until you’ve clamped and screwed all of the boards together, otherwise the clamp will mash the boards together with no space, the pocket screws holding the board spacing in place is no match for the pressure from the bar clamp. Buy enough spacers so you can leave them in place if necessary, until the project is complete. ... show more

  • These work great. Plenty big enough. Compact storage too.
Size: Green 1/4" (6.4mm)
These work great. I ended up with a box of green, purple, and a mixed. Lesson learned: the loop is NOT strong enough to take heavy force needed to yank out of a tight joint (100+ lb!) Instead, kick it from the side 🤣

  • liked the bigger ones better
Size: Red 1/8" (3.2mm)
Bought some spacers before that had the ability to get your fingers in the holes and were easy to pull if wedged too tight. In the case of these, you need a tool(screwdriver.. pliers ) to pull them out. My other bigger spacers (which are larger) let you keep track of them on a work site these are too small. Besides this, it does the trick ... show more

  • We use these fabricating cabinets and set them between the drawer fronts and doors
Size: Red 1/8" (3.2mm)
Easy way to get reveal set.

  • Worked perfectly
These made putting down the deck boards much easier. Glad I went with the multi sized pack because it was handy to use different sizes to get the floor back to square at any point. Several times we had to use different size spacers on the same board to square things up. First composite deck I've done and I was expecting boards that were straight as an arrow but they were worse than wood, so these made the job of getting everything back to square at anytime during the project much easier. Had a few get squeezed in too tight to pull out by hand but I used a claw hammer to remove them by the handle and had no issues getting them out and none of them broke. Price seems a little high for some plastic, but after using them I'm not complaining at all about the price. ... show more

  • These Deck Spacers Are Tough
Size: Red 1/8" (3.2mm)
I bought the tub of deck spacers because I had 20ft 2x6's to install, and the lumber was quite badly bowed. With about 400 feet of boards installed, I have yet to break one of these spacers. They take a lot of abuse and pressure from the 2x6's being pried into alignment. If a spacer becomes jammed because of the pressure between the boards, I can slip a pry bar under the flange on the spacer and pry it out without destroying the spacer. ... show more
