This is a really cool idea and looked so fun. Once I got it I learned that the battery compartment is made cheaply. You add your batteries and turn it over and the batteries come loose losing connection. No matter how tight I put the cover on, I ended up having to secure the batteries in there with tape. Not the safest option but it’s at least working now. It does work as pictured moving the gel around to make pictures so that is nice. Without the light on you can still see what you’re drawing. I just feel if they advertise the lights and sounds it should be functional even though it does work without them. I didn’t expect the height of quality from crayola but this was a bit of a let down. ... show more
