Description

The MXR bass chorus deluxe is powered by Pure analog Bucket-Brigade technology, serving up shimmering, liquid chorus and swooshing, metallic Flanger effects while preserving the punch and fundamental of your low end. The bass chorus deluxe features top-mounted Flanger and x-over buttons with LED status indicators. In x-over mode, modulation in low frequencies is decreased at 100hz-perfect for playing upper register chords, melodies and fills while keeping the low end in tune. With bass and treble controls you can cut or boost lows and highs and shape the tonal character of the effect. For a wide stereo sound, select the TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) stereo Hardwire bypass mode via an internal switch. In this mode, you can use a TRS to TS (tip- sleeve) splitter cable to send the effect signal to two different amplifiers, allowing the modulation to move from left to right. The bass chorus deluxe joins the ranks of award-winning pedals in the MXR bass innovations line, Each designed by Bass players for bass players.

  • Wide variety of chorus/flanger effects for bass
So many options with this. You can use the onboard flanger or disable it for more traditional chorus (button on the top right). There is a cross-over so the deep bass is left alone but the signal gets more affected as the notes get higher. You can control this with button on the top left. I've gotten this thing to produce a kind of "46 & 2" tone. At other times I've dialed it in to having a Sitar sound, perfect for an Egyptian scale. ... show more

  • fantastic pedal, very lush chorus tones
fantastic pedal, very lush chorus tones, you can get a cool jaco tone especially if you use it on a fretless bass, I use it for guitar to and it sounds super sick, if you crank the rate and width you can get a mac demarco tone, not exactly but it sounds like something he would do, i pair it with a fuzz pedal and it sounds pretty sweet, I would recommend this pedal to anyone, and did I mention this thing is built like a tank, I'm confident that if I dropped this thing from my roof it would still work great! have fun ... show more

  • Just right
Just fired up this pedal a few minutes ago. Really clean sounding not overbearing just the right amount of Chorus. My last Chorus Pedal was the Sweeper and I never could get the sound I wanted from that and the side gain knob on the Sweeper was a hindrance. The MXR BCD flanger mode is great like two pedals in one. The Bass and Treble controls are what put this over the Sweeper. The Bass and Treble allow you to really tailor your tone. If you are looking for a nice smooth Chorus that's like a nice glaze on a donut get this. ... show more

  • GREAT BASS CHORUS!
Great little Bass Chorus box, even with 5 string. It has both bass & treble controls which allows an additional EQ setting when activated. The intensity, rate and width allows for wide range of adaptability for that perfect setting. I love the flanger function, but I wish it had an independent stomp footswitch to be able to add as wanted or needed midstream. I have found times when I like it both in or out. Good solid box with virtually zero line noise in the chain. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend!
By far the best value for the quality. Use it for the flanger, but chorus is top notch also. Highly recommend

  • Dream Flanger for Bass
Roll off the effect on low frequencies - such an obvious but apparently never thought of idea. Bass Innovations. These pedals are so good.
