First things first, this is a big, gold, gaudy necklace. See photo for size reference. This necklace is as fake as my blonde hair! My 8-year-old, baseball-playing son came home on Christmas Eve to write Santa a letter. He added that he wanted a M.V.P. necklace. What?!? That was the first time I had heard of that! Away Donner, Away Blitzen, To Amazon Santa goes! This is pretty decent, actually! You never know with things like this, but the quality id much nicer than I anticipated it would be. My only complaint is the chain is kind of "rough". I'm not sure if it's just the finish or what, but it's not totally smooth. Other than that it's perfect for what it is. This product is a fun and inexpensive way to add a little fun to my kid's softball team. When a player scores or has a good game, the coach gives this medal for them to wear until the next player scores or has a good game. It adds a little incentive for doing well and it promotes team building as the girls celebrate each other's accomplishments. The product is sturdy and should last for many seasons. My 10 year old grandson LOVES basketball and has played on a local "everybody gets to play" league for several years. I was not able to attend his first game of the season, but he shared all of the triumphs he brought to team as they barely won the game. I know he and many others don't share my beliefs that any activity is more about how you play the game (team player, showing kindness, being a good loser and a good winner...) than did my team win. My plan is to present this MVP necklace at the end of the season and share how I saw him performing representing my "ideal MVP". The lettering is 4" wide and about 1 1/2" tall. The MVP part is solid and fairly heavy. There is enough bling to fill up a room with "wow". The link chain is sturdy enough to handle the weight and attention that this necklace deserves. Purchased through Vine to use as an incentive at my select baseball team practices. We currently use to give out at the end of practice to whom put in the most work. The 12 year boys absolutely love the "bling" and showing it off! This pendant and chain are heavy, sturdy, and shine! It catches the eye of everyone as including other teams asking questions.     • Great novelty necklace
My girls cheer for a gym named MVP and I got this for us to support (and maybe embarrass) them while at competitions. It’s large and makes a statement but it’s not too heavy around the neck. It’s very thick and sturdy, not cheaply made at all, worth the price as it will last us many seasons to come.
