  • Works great on my Taylor guitar!
Size: Taylor 9 Volt Expression System
A big improvement over the stock combination jack and strap pin. Straps fit much better. Easy to install

  • Good product
Size: Standard Output Jacks
This is the perfect solution for attaching a non-locking guitar strap to an acoustic/electric guitar that has the end button also serving as the output jack plug-in (a ridiculous design that is only good for playing while sitting). That end button is way too wide for the standard guitar strap hole and is about impossible to use without opening the hole on the strap, which could ruin the stitching on a nice leather strap. This has two options, one for Martin and one for pretty much all the others. Nice sturdy black plated steel construction. Also has an optional button attachment for those who prefer not to use a strap lock. the only drawback is it is only available in black plated. My Hummingbird has all gold trim, so I bought a set of gold Dunlop endpins and used one in place of the optional button attachment and it worked perfectly! ... show more

  • Pricey

Works well, I just feel a bit costly

  • Great accessory for aftermarket acoustic guitar pickups
Size: Standard Output Jacks
I love K&K Pure Mini acoustic guitar pickups and have added them to each of my three acoustic guitars. But, like various other aftermarket pickups, the outer plug assembly where you insert the quarter inch guitar cable is wider than on, say, a Taylor guitar with a built in pickup. Which causes a problem with hooking up a guitar strap because they don’t fit right and can slip off. I called K&K to ask if they had a solution and they recommended this product. It does exactly what was needed and I no longer worry about the strap slipping off. $19 seems like a relatively expensive way to fix that problem, but it does what it’s supposed to do. ... show more

  • Adapter
Size: Standard Output Jacks
It fits my Martin acoustic and was easy to install. My guitar jack was double nutted with a rubber washer between. I removed the outer nut and left the rubber washer which helps keep my adapter in place. What I don't like is that this adapter is only about 1 inch long from the center of my jack to the center of the button that connects to the strap. When connected, my strap extends down to the center of the jack. Trying to plug a straight guitar chord plug in with the strap in the way is impossible. It is difficult to plug a 90 degree guitar chord plug and push the strap out of the way. And when plugged in, the strap is constantly binding against the guitar chord plug. This adapter could be 1/4 to 1/2" longer to get 5 stars. Thus 4 stars. I have a sturdy padded guitar strap to help with neck pain. The strap has nice stitching along the edges. So I cannot clip leather from the end of my strap or it will disturb the stitching. I connect my strap with the narrow end up at the neck and the fat end down by the jack. There is too much width to connect the fat end up by the neck which interferes with playing high on the neck. ... show more

  • Freaking awesome
Size: 3 Screw Output Jacks
Super quality, exactly what I wanted! Whether wireless or corded, instruments can still take a dive when a strap slips off an endpin jack. Glad to see someone actually developed, made and marketed this - I had a similar idea back in the late 90's when as a touring multi-instrumentalist, I had my acoustic-electric modified in order to install a real straplock. (I had a luthier relocate the endpin jack to a standard jack on the lower bout with reinforcing blocking installed inside, doweling the original hole and then installing a locking button. A royal pain, there had to be an easier way. This is it.) Provided you're handy with a soldering iron to disconnect and then reconnect the jack, a super easy install that, if desired, can be undone because no modifications to the wood are required. ... show more
