I'm in my 40s, and late-diagnosed with ADHD (tho, ND or NT, everybody gets fidgety sometimes.) I'm picky about sensory stimuli and aesthetics, so finding fidgets that fill both needs is an interesting challenge. I could never get on board with the floppy popits that kids started going nuts for a few years ago, as they just felt wrong in my hands & often left a weird smell. But there's something quite satisfying about playing with this little beauty, and it's a pleasant bit of kitschy decor. The functional silicone bits remind me of the poppers/pop-up rubber playthings from the 80s/90s, with more resistance & snap vs other modern popits. The hard plastic gives leverage to fidgeting, and even with a seam, it's comfortably smooth as can be while securely holding the silicone in place. The material and construction seem of high quality. I bought this for myself, but I'd feel safe letting a toddler past teething toys handle it. I'm a sucker for rainbows & the occasional trompe l'oeil object -- it looks like a painter's palette, so even just seeing it in my tin of fidgets makes me smile. My 16-month-old loves this toy. It "pops" better than some other pop toys I've seen, with a really nice, definitive, tactile and audible pop on both sides. He wasn't as interested in it before he gained the motor skills to do the popping, but once he figured it out, he loved it.
