I drink and order both chocolate and vanilla creme. The vanilla can sometimes feel gritty and leave an aftertaste but bearable and good to have as variety. Chocolate tastes great... work out, or work hard outdoors, this is a good way to get a nice batch of muscle-repairing protein back into your system i am always hesitant with these flavors, as they can just be downright nasty in some forms. this, is a genuinely enjoyable flavor. toss this and some frozen berries into a blender, and have a protein smoothie with beneficial berries and all the antioxidants, extra vitamins and minerals. and is almost like dessert.. go figure.. value wise, this isnt bad.. SAMS club, as 24 packs that are a bit cheaper, but, not always in any flavor but chocolate, which is.. OK.... i definitely mix that with berries for a frozen smoothie drink, i dont care for it as much as the strawberry, which is FINE to drink on its own. sort of easy to hold, i mean, i down it quickly if its just one.. ... show more

I have bought these several times both here and at costco. However costco has not been carrying strawberry. I use them intermittently as a meal replacement or when I am on the go and need a quick boost of protein. They have less salt than the comparable orgain product. While I am a fan of strawberry flavored items in general, this has a bit of a weird nestle quick fake strawberry taste however it's still palatable and it is not at all gritty like some other products. It goes down smooth and I did not experience any after taste. I think the chocolate is the best flavor. I have finished almost all of the strawberry and I have since purchased the chocolate flavor which tastes pretty good when it's cold. ... show more

I was using these drinks for a while because they are certainly cheap and easy to find. They also taste good and give a nice protein kick. Unfortunately, they were playing havoc with my stomach, too, in giving me slight gas and discomfort. I didn't figure it out for a while but I believe it's because of the huge amount of liquid fiber they put in each container. In some case, as much as 5 grams per 11 ounces! That's far too much for my body to absorb. Instead, it sends me right to the bathroom. Who needs that? I'm not even sure why a manufacturer feels a need to add fiber in the first place. These are really good. I am on a low carb lifestyle and these are perfect for me to grab on the go. They help keep me full so I don’t just grab for anything to eat when I don’t have time to cook. There is no sugar which was the reason I started keeping them stocked in my pantry. The texture is good. Not as thick as a milkshake but not thin either. I have to take medication every morning and when I do that, I take it with my morning protein shake to protect my stomach. The shakes keep me from getting “hangry”. They make a size larger than this but these are 1 serving and that is perfect for me. I would waste the bigger ones. Just know when you order these that they are the 1 serving size. I have tried chocolate and vanilla and the vanilla is my favorite. I would like to try the other flavors as well. The price is better than anywhere I could find around my area. Also, I am small and trying to build more muscle and this works great for protein right after my workout, then I eat a regular meal about an hour later. Plus a smoothie. This should not be considered an actual meal in any way if you are looking to benefit from added proteins. It is filling but not so much that you don't want a dinner ( or lunch/breakfast ) depending on when you work out. I always have mine super cold. Warm is NOT good!! LOL! Not in any way, don't even try it! I would recommend to anyone who is looking to get more than 50 -75 grams of protein a day. This is an automatic 25 grams, to me, that is a huge benefit and keeps from having to search for even more food with high protein besides the standard meat products. which I do eat, but how much chicken and steak can a person eat in a day?!! ... show more

This was great! Good value and good taste. Exactly what I was hoping for when it came to strawberry...not sure how much "'n' creme" taste there was, but not sure what that tastes like to begin with. Only thing with muscle milk is after like 5 minutes of drinking it, it leaves a protein-y, kind of gross aftertaste. I usually just drink water after to avoid it. It's really not that bad, but something I noticed over time of drinking it. I'll probably get it again at some point! ... show more
