This works much better than a cup for keeping soap out of the eyes of our granddaughters. The handle is a solid piece, so there won't be any issue with residue/mold getting inside of it. Cup itself is firm enough to hold its shape but plenty soft enough to conform to baby's forehead. We had previously purchased another (duck-shaped) shampoo cup, but the "bill" was too stiff. I love that these are small, light weight, very affordable, and gets the job done. One thing to note is that the bottom of the cup is in a funky shape, so where the bottom connects to the handle is a bit challenging to clean and can grow mold.
