My son is small for a 6 year old, and has often complained about the size of other switch cases. We needed to find something that offered protection but didn't make the device uncomfortable for him. This one is perfect! Would recommend for anyone small hands but not for large hands. Me (9.75" hands) find it way too small and prefer the larger ergonomic cases. ... show more

    • Sturdy, Clear and Comfortable. Mumba's Finest.

First, I already own a standard switch case from Mumba circa 2017, which felt good even if the switch itself seems to fight me whenever I use it because of the separating joy-cons. Second, I am happy to say that Mumba's quality hasn't fallen at all, in some areas it seems to have gotten even better. Some context. I recently decided to buy the Pokemon Switch lite not only to feed my internal need to support and show off my love of pokemon but because I feel it is the best looking model of switch lite so far. This being the case I wanted to make sure that the unit stayed as good looking as possible while being able to gawk at it at my leisure. This case is the pinnacle of that need. It's comfortable, I'd say 95% clear (this is the case with softer TPU, and I'm fine with that), and thin enough to not require me to buy a thick switch lite case to protect the face. My only real complaint is that this case covers up the SD Card slot, but that trade off increases the overall sturdiness of the case. After spending the better part of my entire day off of work playing it with abandon I am very satisfied. Good Job Mumba. ... show more

I decided to rewrite my review. This grip case has grown on me. It's definitely a great choice if you're looking for a slim, minimalistic look without sacrificing any loss of protection. It's also lightweight and easy to hold. In the photos that I have updated. You will see what I mean. I also have a it paired with Skull & Co. analog grip caps. I normally find something I like about these grips floating around here on Amazon and they get sent back. I have smaller hands for an adult and this is by far the most comfortable grip I ever used on the lite. I'd go as far to say this is better than Skull&co. At first glance this thing is thicker than most clear grips and I was immediately worried that it would add weight or be awkward to hold. I had nothing to worry about. The material is a premium feeling TPU material very similar to what hori uses. The back grips don't bulge out as much either which makes it easier to hold for me. I won't be buying any more grips to find better nor will I be sending this one back. I'm sticking with this brand from now on. ... show more

I really loved this case at first, but quickly realized it still didn't solve my problem. I had palm pain on my left hand from holding the switch up with it. After 2 hours it was shot and hurt for a day or so. This helps more with rear grip control and console protection. I love the rear bubbles and they feel great. But I still had to hold the lite up with my palms, and now there was a plastic lip sticking into my palm. Unfortunately didn't help, but would be a great travel case for short playtime. ... show more
