  • Shocked at how nice this is
For the price paid, I was blown away by the initial experience. It looks great with a sharp and brilliant screen. The app set up with no problems and immediately saw the watch. Everything about it was surprisingly intuitive. I don't know how accurate it is. But at this price point, I can't find anything to complain about. I am shocked at how cool this thing is. Update 1: Wore it during the night and the sleep tracking seems spot on. Battery life so far is excellent. Charged it 16 hours ago and still 90%. Update 2: After wearing continuously almost 72 hours, the battery is still at 62%. It appears to be very accurate on Steps, Heart Rate, and Sleep. I've now tested it against a real BP machine (with the cuff) and find the BP measurement on this device to be unreliable. It shows lower numbers than my actual BP. But this (BP with a wrist worn device) is something that not even Apple or FitBit has figured out, so it's cool that they gave it a shot here, but DO NOT TRUST THIS FOR MEASURING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE. That said, it's still worth every penny paid and I am enjoying this inexpensive smartwatch far more than I expected. Battery life is excellent, screen is super sharp, it's comfortable and except for BP it seems to be very accurate in all other functions. ... show more

  • Finally something accurate!
Let me start by saying, half a life time ago I was a state qualifying cross country runner. I have been running on and off since I was 13 and I'm 36 now. I have been weight lifting since I was 14 or 15. Now I am a respiratory therapist , for my career. I have struggled trying to find a watch that simply keeps vitals and is accurate. My heart rate is always in the 60s at rest and my sleeping heart rate or extreme rest can be in the 50s. It has been on the money these last 3 days of owning it. My blood pressure is always lower.. like 108/65 ish to 115/72 ish. It has been very accurate, as my blood pressure has been in that range with the watch. These are numbers expected to be found with an athletic person. And the steps have to be pretty close to accurate too! I've had some in the past that said I only did 500 plus steps a whole day in a several block taking sized hospital that I always did over 5 to 8 miles in a day in. I knew it was wrong. This one seems to be closer to the truth as the steps make sense to my activity level.. Only thing I don't find accurate and I feel this way on all Calorie reading devices, is the calorie numbers. Everyone has a different metabolism so it won't be the correct number. Plus, it is counting calories when walking and I don't think on any movements. We burn caleries other than just walking. Battery life seems to last long. Sleep app seems to be accurate to my restless nights too. Over all im happy with this. Even different watch faces to change to if board. Some extras like music stuff, I haven't played with yet. I will update on how it does when working out. Update: it's been about 5 days now and the battery life was 60% this morning. Now at 58%. Pretty impressive . I haven't charge it in these 5 days at all. ... show more

  • Pick a Different watch
Let's start with the good. I like the watch itself, and the functions seem pretty good. The user interface on the app is not exactly intuitive, but the app functions alright. Light weight, looks good. Now the bad. The watch completely bricked about 4 weeks after it arrived and had to be replaced. In pout it on the charger working fine and the next morning it was completely dead. Amazon kindly shipped out a replacement. Then, 5 weeks later the charging cable stopped working. For some reason there was no return option on the second watch they sent out. Amazon was kind enough to send another charging cable. Maybe I just got a couple of lemons, or maybe the build quality isn't reliable. Either way, I wouldn't buy this again. Update: The second watch they sent me just bricked. So they are two for two at becoming unfunctional after about 6 weeks of use. Please don't buy this watch. ... show more

  • Maybe Good Enough
I'm using this with a Samsung S10e. Pros: - Big bright color display - Good battery life: 7.5 days of normal moving around (5-8k steps per day), very few notifications, one bike ride of slightly over an hour, with continuous heart rate monitoring always on has left my battery at 27% - Always on heart rate monitoring - Some fitness tracking - Some notifications - Pretty simple interface Cons: - Flipping your wrist to light up the screen is not great. It's not bad, but seems to require a minimum final angle before it lights up the screen (the motion only doesn't seem to do it), and it's a little slow, close to 1 second delay - No automatic exercise detection, you always have to start and stop the exercise manually - When not exercising, heart rate detection seems like it's every 5 minutes or 10 minutes, something like that. When exercising, looks like it's about every minute. - Notifications are pretty limited: - Vibration is pretty weak (easy for me to miss) - Only shows/accesses the last three notifications - No e-mail notifications (from Outlook, Blue Mail or Gmail) - No call notifications (that I have noticed; supposed to be so maybe I have just missed them) - Definitely no missed call notifications - Supposed to be available for several other apps (FB, Twitter, Skype, Insta, Line, KakaoTalk and WeChat) but I don't use any of those so no confirmation - No GPS connection to your phone for route tracking - Calories used during workout is likely very inaccurate: in a 65minute bike ride, this device stated I used 325 Kcal; for the same bike ride, the MapMyRide app from Under Armour showed I used 844 calories, which is much more believable. Basically, if you are looking for a $40 digital watch with a nice bright colorful display (it's not an awesome display, but it's good and it's bright enough to be readable in Tucson direct sunlight), >1 week battery life, and some very basic fitness tracking and smart functionaility, it's a decent fit. If you want accurate fitness tracking or auto-detection of exercises, or if you want a lot of access to notifications, this watch will disappoint you. My priorities are battery life, readable screen, and decent fitness tracking, so I'm debating whether I keep this or spend another $25-30 to get either the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 (very good screen, not so accurate sleep tracking, no exercise auto-detection) or the Fitbit Inspire 2 (not as good screen, accurate sleep tracking, exercise auto-detection). If you have recommendations, let me know. ... show more
