I love the cold brew I get from this product however it takes forever to fill the container with water because it has to filter through the coffee grounds. So you have to wait for it to settle in between pours. It usually takes us about 30 mins to fill it completely. Then you have to wait at least another 12 hours to drink it. The pitcher usually only lasts me a few days before I have to do the whole process again. I wish it was a little easier to use, but it’s not the fault of the manufacturer. ... show more

I wanted this to replace the Takeya we all use and I loved the form factor and build quality. The reservoir is that softer but bulletproof Tritan stuff. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get a really strong brew out of it, even after 48 hours, and it’s not leakproof like the Takeya so you can’t even put it on its side. I desperately wanted to replace the Takeya because I found it big and hated the laying on the side, but unfortunately the Mueller fails in its actual core function. ... show more

A beautiful pitcher that makes delicious cold-brew coffee! I took away one star for 2 slightly annoying issues: •The design does not allow for all the coffee to get wet when using the maximum amount of coffee grounds plus the maximum amount of water as suggested by the manufacturer. The top inch-and-a-half of grounds was still dry after sitting upright for 24 hours in the fridge. I think a solution for this problem would be to lay the pot on its side while brewing. •The pitcher has a threaded leak-proof handle that does not seat centered in the middle of the pitcher when tightened. Looking at the side the handle is slightly off-center which make it pour weird. Other than my 2 issues, it is a nice pitcher that makes great coffee! ***Updated 7-10-2023*** After using the pitcher several times since its delivery, I have concluded that the ONLY way for ALL the coffee grounds to be exposed to water while brewing is IF the pitcher is laying o its side the entire time while brewing. To reiterate again, the problem is when the maximum amount of coffee grounds is being used with the maximum amount of water as per the manufacturer's printed instructions. ... show more

Surprised that I like this so much. Plastic carafe was a concern but I see how that is a smart decision... glass is easier to break and heavier so plastic is a great choice. I know from prior experience that Mueller stands behind their products so I am not worried about durability of plastic. Cold brew coffee made in this tastes great. This would be even better if there was a lid on tip of the infuser so you can push it down into the water filled carafe. ... show more

I find it works well, looks good, and is easy to clean but It's missing vent holes on the opposite side so it makes poring a little long. I fixed this by drilling 3 holes on the other side to allow air to flow so i am not restricting the flow of ice tea

Was looking for a nice regular pitcher to make iced tea in when I stumbled across this. Perfect 2-Quart size, option to cold-brew coffee or tea, disassembles into small pieces to easily clean and seals tightly when not in use. I love the center mesh filter for holding the tea bags. Does it work better than just letting them all sit at the bottom? Not sure, but it looks cool and the iced tea turns-out amazing. I feel the mesh filter design is much better suited for cold-brewing coffee which I haven't tried yet. Only cons are: - Instructions say not to place pitcher in dish washer, so hand-wash only. However, the plastic components (mesh center, top cap) can go in dish washer. It recommends you wash them after each use. - A bit taller than most pitchers. Won't fit in any of my fridge shelves and I don't want to re-arrange them. Thankfully, fits in a door shelf just fine. ... show more

It works awesome and is durable, only problem is the O-Ring that seals the top will fall out. It’s very annoying to try and put back on. Thats the only flaw.
