  • My Go-To for All Weather: Why I Love My MUCK Brand Rain and Snow Boots!
Size: 10-10.5 Color: Black/Grey
I purchased my MUCK Brand Rain and Snow Boots a few weeks ago and have been waiting for the weather to wear them. They have completely changed my perspective on footwear for wet and wintry weather! Surprisingly comfortable, these boots are so well-fitted that I often forget I’m even wearing them. I’ve worn them during walks with my dogs in various weather conditions, and they’ve always kept me comfortable, even on extended outings. The insulating lining keeps my feet warm without causing overheating, allowing me to wear regular socks without any discomfort. The tread pattern is fantastic, providing excellent grip on a variety of slippery surfaces—think wet leaves, ice, and snow. Plus, the clever little ridge on the back of each heel makes it a breeze to slip them off when I’m indoors. I love that they’re designed to accommodate my pants, whether I choose to tuck them in or wear them out. Overall, these boots are the best investment I’ve made for dealing with inclement weather. I would have rated them six stars if possible. Highly recommend them for anyone seeking comfort and performance! ... show more

  • pretty comfortable, works well in snow and rain, warm enough for northern VA
Size: 10-10.5 Color: Black/Grey
I wanted to taller snow boot, as the previous one I had (keen revel 3) tended to dig into my shin. Got a great deal on these, so had to give them a try. One of my concerns with Muck Boots was that I had tried their muckster ii's and the soles were weirdly slippery out of the box, I was sliding around just standing on a hardwood floor. I assume once broken in they would have been grippy, but was concerned they would always be slick. Not so with these Arctic excursions - super grippy, which gave me more assurance they would be fine on ice and snow. I appreciated the ease of entry, my other boots needed a lot more effort to put on. I can get probably 90% of the way in, and just need a slight tug to seat the heel. I wish the heel tab were slightly larger and/or lower, I tend to step on the sole right underneath to step out hands free. I'm in northern Virginia so admittedly conditions aren't too severe, but this has kept my feet warm and dry in the few snowy days we've had. I'm usually a 10.5 in most shoes, the 10 fits perfect. I'm flat footed and I have plenty of toebox space, but it's secure enough in the heel where the boot isn't flopping around when walking. There's plenty of room for thick socks, but I've gone out in thinner wool socks and been fine as well. Haven't worn them for more than an hour for playing in the snow or walking the dog, but they're comfortable enough that I feel I would be fine wearing them all day if needed. ... show more

  • Great boots!
Size: 10-10.5 Color: Black/Grey
Got these last year for my pops and I've order 2 more since. Ultralight, comfortable, and can be worn year round. They do wear and tear, but my pops a farmer and is always on his feet, so for what the boots go through, I'd say they get the job done.

  • Not for cold weather
Size: 12-12.5 Color: Black/Grey
The -40° rating is laughable. These may be the worst cold weather boot I’ve ever worn. I think my steel toe timberlands would be warmer. I wore these boots ice fishing last weekend in 20° weather and my feet were cold in 30 minutes. Numb in 90 minutes. After a few hours I was speculating how many toes would be black with hypothermia (luckily none). The boots go on and off easy, they’re comfortable, a bit tight around the calf (can’t tuck pants into boots to keep pants dry), overall a nice saltwater fishing boot. NOT A WINTER BOOT. ... show more

  • Size and comfort
Size: 11-11.5 Color: Black/Grey
Unfortunately, these boots were too small so I have to return them for a size larger. However, they appeared to be well made. I hope one size larger is not too big.

  • Not as warm as my first two pairs of Muck boots
Size: 8-8.5 Color: Black/Grey
We have had a warmer than normal winter this year in Minnesota so I wanted to wait for some below zero temps before I passed final judgement on these boots. I have horses so I clean stalls in the morning and evening. This morning the temperature was -7. By the time I was done with chores this morning (1.5 hours) my toes were definitely cold. I ordered these "Arctic" boots instead of the Muck Chore boots I have had in the past because both pairs of the Chore boots have split at the toe. I do wear these boots at least 4 hours a day for 6 months of the year and they didn't split until half-way into the second season, but I was hoping these "Arctic" boots at $139 would last longer. They probably will because I will probably go back to the Chore boots and only wear these when it is above 10 degrees or so. For that, they are fine. I think calling them Arctic is very misleading. I also notice the treads are not very good on ice, but we've had a VERY icy year so maybe I am noticing that more. Also, I ordered the same size as I order in the Chore boots and these are smaller. Otherwise I could have tried thicker socks. The one plus is that the Arctics are lighter weight (probably why they are not as warm). I would not suggest these boots for any temperatures below 10 F. ... show more
