This review is for the: Purple Grimace Inflatable Costume This thing is awesome! Its Grimace (well almost). I got this for halloween and for use at parties (if I go to any). I don't know if this is for smaller lids, but more suitable for teenagers and adults, based on height. It is made of a nylon material that allows for inflation amd maintains its shape. There is a view portal so you can see where you are going. The foot elastic help keep the legs down. The costume comes with a poweful motor amd a battery pack that requires 4 AA batteries. Or you can use a power bank (connection by USB). I would recommend buying a rechargeable power bank to save on batteries or use rechargeable batteries. The motor connects to the costume by a locking ring. It doesn't take very long to inflate the costume and stay inflated. It is easy to get in and out of with the zipper in the back. The costume appears to be well stichted. I would recommend staying away from sharp objects, thorns, fires (bom fires, fireplaces etc). The arms have holes to slip your hands through, and have durable elastic in them to prevent air leakage. While I dont mind the "open hands" it would have been better if they were closed and you have hands like Grimace and it would cover you up. It just looks off, or not as authentic. The costume, in my opinion gets pretty warm if you are outisde. I woudl recommend using this indoors. Overall, i love this costume. I would recommend this for halloween, parties or to just be silly. You know how they have those off brand costume people in NYC and Las Vegas that stand around and get a tip from people that want their picture taken. Well, this would fit right in. It is Grimace, looks like him, but you can tell it's not really him. It will make for a great Halloween costume and if anyone asks what I am, I could be Grimace or I could be a happy eggplant. The blower motor looks kind of cheap. It looks mostly like a toy, but it does work and it is effective. I would not want to wear this in the middle of the summertime because I imagine it would get really hot. It did get hot in my house for the 10-15 minutes I wore it. It was a little bit claustrophobic at first until the costume inflated enough so it took its shape. It will be great for Halloween it should be cool enough that I should not have a problem wearing this. It did come with a power pack so you could run it on I believe double a batteries, but I just used one of my many battery packs that I have to run it. I was able to put the battery pack in my back pocket of my jeans that I was wearing under the costume. I do not know how long double a batteries would work but I'm sure the battery pack that I used would last hours. Overall I'm happy with this costume. ... show more

I ordered this Mr.Ma Rich Grimace Costume Purple Grimace Inflatable Costume Suit Halloween Grimace Mascot Costume the second I saw it because I’ve always had a soft spot for Grimace. My family loves costumes. I was an actor for years before I broke my neck during a tech gone wrong. My husband works in theater, too. Our kid is an actor and training for opera. Our house is stuffed with all kinds of costumes—capes and boots and corsets and gowns and doublets and petticoats and wigs. My teenage son loves inflatable costumes like this, so we have a few of those in the mix. How could we not order an inflatable Grimace? I think the question here isn’t what can you do with an inflatable Grimace costume. It’s what can’t you do with an inflatable Grimace costume. It’s the Grimace! Okay, sure, this is a very basic version of the Grimace that has some eggplant-esque qualities. But in mere moments, you can pop it over your head, turn on the fan, and become a tiny part of the mystery, the mystique that is the Grimace. The fact that this costume exists proves the world still can delight and surprise me. Be cautious with this, the plastic isn’t the sturdiest. Carefully tended, it should bring you many moments of Grimace-adjacent joy. In case of a tear, there’s always purple duct tape. Oh, how I wish I could give more than five stars. Go ahead, order it. The fan is weak and this will not inflate well. Make sure to not block fan air intake or else it'll won't do anything I had to inflate with a blow dryer

Was excited to get the costume- it arrived and I put it on and immediately got stuck inside the costume because of a defective zipper. Sent it back.
