I originally purchased this to use with my mountain buggy nano, but after mice destroyed my stroller I thought I had just wasted a bunch of money on this carry cot. BUT WE LOVE IT. We use it in the house without the canopy, like its a portable bassinet/Moses basket. Made it so easy to keep my sleeping newborn near but also transport her around the house with me. Works like a charm to have a place to lay her at church, or as a diaper changing station in the van, a napping place at friends houses. I would buy all over again even if I didn’t own a stroller. This was very useful paired with our Mountain Buggy nano. It was also much faster and foolproof to attach to the buggy than a carseat, and MUCH lighter, meaning we could easily pick up the whole stroller with baby inside if need be. I see some folks are displeased because their child outgrew it quickly, but I don't think it could be larger than it is due to the dimensions of the nano; if it were bigger, it would hang off the edge of the stroller chair. My child was 20 inches at birth and is now outgrowing this cocoon near the end of 5 months, so it got a good bit of use and she's about old enough to sit up now anyway. Also, I was afraid of this being too hot to use during summer, but it worked for us here in New England, and now that it's fall the cocoon nicely shields her from the wind. My primary critique of this is that the hood feels cheap and I really wish it was retractable; as pointed out by someone else, you can either leave it on or take the entire thing off. That said- it is really expensive for an item that you'll be using for a half year, max. It was worth it to us since, as city dwellers, we almost never use a carseat. Plus, because our daughter is rarely in a carseat, she complains quite a bit when she's in one. However, if you do often drive with baby, you might want to save some dollars and use the carseat instead, especially if your baby likes the snug feel of the carseat. ... show more

I love that this cocoon allows me to have my infant lie flat in the stroller and transition them inside the house if he stays asleep. It seems nice and warm- perfect for spring but probably warm in the summer months. My qualm is that the cocoon smelled like perfume/fragrance out of the package- gross. I ignored washing instructions and threw it in the washer on delicate after removing the board on the bottom. It air dried fine and the smell decreased but still lingers. I will wash it again soon as my little guy spit up in it recently. Not sure why it was scented- maybe it wasn’t really new. ... show more

Excellent purchase for my newborn twins. They're comfy and snug inside. I do wish the canopy could be adjusted, but I'm fine with it the way it is. I love to swing the twins if they're fussy before moving them to their MB Duet. When using them, we only hook up a single upper clip on the outside, which secures the carrycot nicely in the Duet. The clips took a while to get used to, as our initial attempts at latching required patience before the nylon webbing stretched enough to make clipping in easy. ... show more

This is supposed to fit Mountain Buggy Mini, but the head ends up below the foot. The only way we could prevent that was by putting a thick blanket in the stroller seat under the bassinet head. The design and quality are also so-so. The hood must be taken off entirely if we don't want it up. The zipper cover does not open all the way. These would be ok if it were to actually fit in our stroller as advertised, though. ... show more

I was really excited about this bassinet, but then when it arrived - it has soft sides and the sleeping bag top doesn't zip off all the way, also the canopy can't fold back.. i was really hoping to have an all in one stroller but this doesn't make the cut!
