I've had this feeder at the back of my property for 2 years. I have it set to two feedings every day. I purchased the battery and solar pannel at the same time. I stop by once a month to fill it and it is still working flawlessly! I did have to attach some mesh around the bottom to keep the squirrels from destroying it though. ... show more

Being able to program the time that the feed is dispensed is great. The plastic will not rust like a metal feeder will. But it is not squirrel/racoon proof. I have had the Elite II model in the field for 1-1/2 years so far. They left it alone for the longest time but once they found out that they could chew a hole in the side, game over. Other than this, this is a great feeder. My only recommendation is if you buy one, squirrel/racoon proof it. It will save you some spoiled corn due to rain. ... show more

I ordered 2 feeders that stops feeding with just corn These feeders don’t have enough slop to allow the feed to fall once the center has fed out have to go daily and shake for the feed to fall off the sides. Won’t purchase these again $300 wasted. If I had time to do this daily I would just pour it out on the ground ... show more
