For starters, I really like this thing! The color options are awesome, so much to choose from, and it has a satisfying sound which is actually high on my list of priorities lol. 4 stars because I cannot for the life of me get the Bluetooth pairing to work with my Mac! I was planning on using it wired anyway, so I'm not too upset, but the instructions for getting it in pairing mode (press fn+r and then hold down fn+q) just don't work. the caps lock never turns blue like it says it should. Works well connects fast I like that you can hook multiple devices to it with quick switch, but the key roll ever tends to skip so if you type to fast or hit multiple keys it will skip one occasionally.

It’s her favorite keyboard so far and we have been through a lot of keyboards. Will buy again if she manages to break it, not because of the product. She’s just a maniac when she gets mad and takes it out on the keys, which have held up very nicely.

Has some weight to it doesn’t feel cheaply made. I use with a Mac so shortcut keys are hit or miss. Was missing having arrow keys but hold down fn &3 for a few seconds to activate them now it’s all good! Really great keyboard for the price point

    • Decent keyboard for the price...glaring flaws that are fixable but still annoying.
I was debating between this and the Anne Pro II, but I opted for this keyboard since it is half of the price. PROS: Aesthetically, it is a beautiful and compact keyboard. RGB is bright with a wide variety of display options. Really opens up the real estate on my desk space. Switches are pretty decent. Loud & clicky might not be for everyone, but I really like it. Probably wouldn't make sense to use in a public place or at the office though. Outemu is a great value for what you get. Bluetooth functionality is awesome. I like to minimize wires as much as possible and while the pairing instructions are a little unclear, it works well enough. CONS: The layering system is a huge pain in the ass. There are no dedicated drivers to customize the keys programatically, so out of the box you are forced to use a painfully impractical system where you have to hold a key combination for 5 seconds to toggle layers. The crazy thing is when you use the layer with arrow key functions, the number keys also toggle to their next layer...crazy. This is almost unusable if you are planning to type with it a lot, but luckily there are some workarounds to it. For Windows, there is an AHK script on reddit that allows you to press Caps Lock + Arrow Keys to use them without toggling back and forth between the layers. For OSX, you have to download a keymapping software named Karabiner which allows you to map the keys to new outputs. So right alt -> left arrow, right ctrl -> right arrow, etc. I had to map slash/? to the right shift key which is a little awkward at first but I'm used to it now. Bluetooth reliability: While its a nice feature, sometimes, keys repeat or are not output at all. This is really annoying when typing and makes gaming wirelessly impossible for esports titles such as Overwatch. Wired mode works much more reliably in this case. Complete lack of software. There is nothing that interfaces with this keyboard so you have to use third party keymappers. Anne Pro II has a great driver. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's unfair to expect the same features as a keyboard that is twice its price. If you are a DIY kind of person, this is a great value but it is annoying trying to configure things how you want them to work. I would recommend it if you don't have a $100 budget for a new keyboard, but if you can afford other options, definitely stay away from this one. ... show more

The blue caps have nice sound, but have a sort of metaly-spring sound that shows that they're cheap. The LED's are great, and it has lots of modes and every mode has a different color. The battery lasts long, it lasted me longer than a 2 weeks to 1 month of usage before I had to charge it (I use Bluetooth, if you want to plug it in I dont know anything about that) The raise of the back is very stain-relasing to the hands. Typing on it correctly will take time (I couldn't get it right for like 1 whole week) But quickly you find the right way to type with it. I will say I'd recommend this, but mostly for back-ups, a quick replacement, or just a keyboard on a budget. Also, it connects with Bluetooth to phones, tablets, and such.
