Mothca is my go-to brand for matte screen protectors. I’ve got one on my phone, my iPad, and my watch. Other products I’ve tried advertise anti-glare features, but Mothca’s glass is the only glass I’ve found that truly eliminates all reflections from your devices screen. The matte texture feels so much better than the stock screen and actually makes swiping interacting with your Apple Watch a pleasant experience. As a bonus, it hides fingerprints so the screen always looks clean. Matte screen protectors do introduce a slight grainy effect on white backgrounds which may be annoying for some, but since you won’t really be consuming media on the Apple Watch it’s pretty much a non-issue. Regardless, I think the benefits vastly outweigh the drawbacks. Install is super easy and straightforward— I really like the installation frame that is included as it actually snaps onto your watch so you know it will line up perfectly. I recommend installing in a steamy bathroom and laying all of the included tools out beforehand to help minimize the amount of dust floating in the air so nothing gets trapped under your screen. Honestly, I have not had the best luck with screen protectors for my watch. And was very surprised buy this one. I loved how easy it was to put on. It fit precisely. Actually couldn’t even tell that it was on. With my type of job, I am always hitting into things, dropping my phone.. Ect but with this watch screen protector, it was very durable. Always liked the matte look with fingerprint resistant. Visibility improved as well. Fits great and their customer service is top notch. I have same company’s screen protector on watch and phone. Very satisfied with their product.

    • Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles
Finally installed this on my watch. Followed the instructions perfectly. Very easy to install but, it leaves bubbles on the screen that I cant remove no matter how hard I try. Had to peel it off.

I would give it 5 stars but it struggles to recognize touch input quite often. It does give my screen that amazing look that matte finishes always do. Easy install and no bubbles, even after having it on for over a month. Also, I wash my hands and shower with my watch on everyday with no issues. I definitely recommend just keep in mind about the touch input trouble at times. ... show more

Just had a decent weight portable refrigerator door drop full height and the door hook landed straight in the middle of my ultra. I was horrified and extremely disappointed I let that happen… Screen protector cracked and I literally immediately accepted that the sapphire was probably cracked too… Peeled the protector and was really blown away, not even a speck in the sapphire. Immediately put on the second in the pack and ordered a brand new box for my next accident. I LOVE the watch guide it comes as, you don’t have to align ANYTHING - you just plop the molded plastic over your watch for a perfect fit, then press the screen in place. Super easy. Very pleased. The included guide made it super easy to apply without any bubbles. Ive had no issues with registering touch even when used while wet, water just beads up and is easily cleaned off.
