Good sizes. Seem strong. Convenient size, nesting for storage. Replacing an older silicone coated glass dish that disappeared. They fit in my little microwave oven. Nice lids for putting leftovers in fridge. They look thinner and somewhat fragile, but I have had no problems with them. Of course, I take care to not thermally shock them, and heat and cool them down slowly. These were a good choice for me, and at a reasonable price, plus the convenience of Amazon ordering and delivery. Worth it. ... show more

I read the entire Amazon listing and the ONLY information about capacity indicated 2 quarts. I couldn't tell from the photos if the bowls were differing sizes. The package contained three bowls of different sizes: 1 qt, 1.5 qt, and only one of 2 quart. Deceptive listing by Moss and Stone. The lids do not have a center knob on top, so two hands are required instead of one to lift the lid in the microwave and stir the contents. However, they were packed very well for shipping, and I will keep them because so far this is the only round glass-covered bowl, 2 quarts or larger, that has arrived safely from Amazon. I think the Libbey bowls are thicker and better designed, but Libbey ships their bowls with minimal protective packaging and every one I've ordered from Amazon has arrived cracked and/or chipped. I wish someone on Amazon would offer a 2- or 3-qt bowl, glass-covered, well-designed, and packed adequately for shipping. ... show more

Very nice set, excellent sizes, they clean up well, stack nicely, lids hold up well in the microwave, I steam vegetables daily and the lids and little basket have held their shape. The little handles come off for cleaning. Caution: the handles get hot. They are meant to protect against heat but they get hot too. I have not tried taking them from freezer or fridge to microwave, so I don't know how well they take temperature change but I put frozen vegetables in the large one with a 1/4 cup of water, cook for 6 mins, stir and then cook for 5 mins more and the veggies come out perfectly. I cook more broccoli and cauliflower than anything so times may vary for other veggies. I top the veggies with salmon in the last 3 mins and man does it come out nice! My microwave is 1100 watts.
