Features

  • Traditional 7-Ply Construction. The most common skateboard construction consists of seven layers of maple wood veneer, which are pressed and glued together with strong adhesive. Maple is a dense hard wood that provides excellent strength and pop, making it the tried and true standard for decades.
  • Moose decks feature a modern shape. Full of pop, Moose boards have a mellow concave with steep kicks. The perfect combination of flex, stiffness, strength, and lightness.
  • Moose decks come in a variety of sizes from 7.25 to 9.0. There are no hard rules on what size skateboard should be ridden. We recommend a small size deck (7.25) for people with shoe size 6 and under. Full size skateboards (7.5 9.0) are recommended for skaters 13 and older. The most common size boards right now are 8.0 or 8.25.
  • This a high quality skateboard deck that is simply devoid of graphics or artwork. This is not necessarily a lower quality deck than the average pro deck, its cheaper because the lack of graphics make the boards easier to produce efficiently. The savings is passed along to the consumer.
  • Blank skateboard decks are especially attractive to artists or skaters that want to create their own graphics. This blank skateboard deck is essentially a blank canvas that is ready to be painted.

Bought this board to paint as a gift to my boyfriend. It had a glossy finish so I had to sand it down to paint it, but I expected that. It's a very nice, sturdy board. I can't say anything on durability since it's for decoration not use. Overall a great value and a great board!

    • Good Quality Deck For Art Projects

Purchased this board as a "test" board for an art project I am working on. My plan is to use a skate desk to display all the stickers I've collected from traveling, the test board is to see how well stickers adhere to the surface. This deck has a smooth finish, I used some sticker packs I purchased here for the test. The stickers are garbage quality, I discovered, they do not stick well to ANY surface. But when using a good-quality sticker, it sticks to the deck with no problems. I hope to test out vinyl stickers next. I did 2 coats of Mod Podge and the deck is complete! Perfect for art projects, I will be testing some paint on another one in the future. As an avid skater, this deck is durable and I saw no imperfections in the material. I buy these decks too paint my pink eye graphics on to sell. I don't want my name or art on a cheap board that brakes day one or layers come apart.Top shelf decks man never had a issue with them or the old skool blanks moose offers as well.the price is grate to I can still make a few bucks after deck and paint costs.I bought a lot of the other blanks available on Amazon until I got down to moose on my list of blank sellers.Most of the others I've gotten are not as good quality.
