I was very impressed with the absorption of the these towels.. they are very soft and light weight! They dry quickly and so much less bulky then my old towels.. I had the traditional towels, heavy. I’ve had these towels for about a year now- I bought a set of two in different colors for each of my family members (husband + me + 4 kids= 12 towels in six different colors). Pros: - so soft. So so so soft. If you’re looking for an exfoliating bath towel, this isn’t it. I was super happy wrapping my baby in these towels after a bath. - beautiful colors - decent price Cons: - 3/6 of us decided that the towels were “too soft”. My husband refuses to use them (see next point) - it is because they are so soft that they’re not entirely absorbent, I find I have to blot (press and hold) the water off my body vs the ‘running the towel over my skin’ that I’m used to with previous towels. - don’t ask me how….. and it’s happened to about 80% of rmy towels…. They smell like DORITOS. even fresh out of the dryer, they distinctly smell like Doritos. We’re not huge fans of Doritos in this house (sunchips house) but about six months out, almost every towel reeked. I wash all of my towels equally, and nothing else in my laundry has this smell, only these towels. I’ve found that I have to soak them in a pine-sol solution in the wash to keep the smell at bay. As of today, we’re using different towels, which is a bummer because I was all for the pros and less caring about the cons until the smell just couldn’t be taken anymore. Again, I wouldn’t even comment if the rest of my laundry had a funky smell. But it is, literally, just these towels. The hand towels, the bath towels, the washcloths – all of them, and only them, have the smell. :( Just an fyi- I bet these would make great guest towels if you don’t have so much company that you need to launder them frequently. After using the these towels for about two months now, I have some thoughts to share. Firstly, the towels aren't as big and thick as they appear in the pictures. However, the towels are nice and beautiful and seems to have a good quality materials. Initially, I was disappointed with how thin they felt, but after using them, I came to appreciate their absorbency and softness. The size of the towels is appropriate, and they're light, making them perfect for the gym, travel, and everyday use. I live in a hot and dry city, the towels dry relatively quickly, but not exceptionally. I prefer different colors, for example, 2 different colors, in each set so you won’t make a mistake and use the wrong towel, I had this problem and I made a mark on three of them, so I don’t make the mistake any more. However, it’s not a big issue. Overall, I recommend these towels for anyone looking for an economical and suitable option with good performance. I spent a lot of time comparing different models, and these are definitely a good and suitable choice. ... show more
