It took me probably a year to buy this duvet. It's been sitting in my saved-for-later and wish list for months and months. You see, I am incredibly picky with bedding. I am a hot sleeper and absolutely cannot stand being too hot. There is nothing worse to me in the world. I run the AC nonstop in the summer and have windows open in the winter. Two words will absolutely turn me off from any duvet: 1. ~soft~ and 2. warm. No, It needs to feel like cool water woven into fabric. Smooth but not silk or satin. Cool but not flimsy. Heavy but not hot. No flannel, no microfiber, no ~soft~. Typically I look for percale but that severely limits my color choices. Almost all brands only make white, grey, maybe sage in percale sheets and duvets. Boring. So I kept returning to this duvet in my saved-for-later. Will I/ Won't I? Finally, I figured what the hell it's cheap and it's amazon so I can just return it. And I'm tired of searching and praying for percale brands to get their shit together and offer a color selection. I mean it's been a battle for years. Does this duvet feel like cool water woven into fabric? No. But is it ~soft~? Also No. Is it itchy/scratchy? ehhhhh not really. However, I do not get too hot and it comes in a million colors, both of which is what we established are most important here. Are you going to like this duvet? I don't know. Probably not, and I guess you can blame me. But I'm here to tell you that if your priorities are at least similar to mine, It's worth trying this duvet out. And if you love it, hey it's cheap and you can get a color for every season if you're an indecisive freak like me. Just give it a shot. ... show more

I ordered this duvet cover in Off White, and it's just beautiful. It has a very nice blend of contemporary and vintage texture, with enough body to make it hold its shape without being stiff. Ties on the inside corners make it easy to secure the duvet, and the zipper makes it easy to close off. I washed and dried this duvet cover before putting the duvet into it, and it did not shrink at all; in fact, it washed very well and softened a bit, which was nice. Some of the negative reviews had me really hesitant to buy, but after a ridiculous amount of reading and searching other options, I took a chance on this MooMee set. SO glad I did! Here's what I like: 1. The texture - it has that linen look, but not the rough feel. It's not as smooth as pure cotton, but definitely not scratchy. I'm picky about texture and this absolutely passes the test 2. The color - vibrant and crisp. Exactly as pictured 3. The relaxed "wrinkles" - I washed it before using and it came out of the dryer with a lovely casual-style look (BTW, it also dried quickly, without patchy places where it was still wet - I used wool dryer balls) 4. The size - large enough to fall past our high mattress to the bed frame, so that the mattress or box spring isn't showing 5. The weight - it's lightweight. When I'm under the covers, it doesn't feel like my feet are pinned down by anything heavy. When I turn over, the comforter lightly "floats" back into place 6. The zipper - works smoothly. Although for the life of me I can't figure out how to use the ties (must be my blonde hair lol) 7. Withstands pets - we have 2 Bostons and a Frenchie and, although minimal shedders, their hair doesn't cling to the fabric and after a week, there are no snags by their nails I might even get another one in a different color to mix things up for the summer time. This is a great duvet cover. 100% cotton. I washed before putting on and there was little to no shrinkage (cold wash, low heat dryer). It's not a smooth, silky cotton like percale. But it's not at all scratchy and is comfortable to lie on. Closest to denim in texture, though much lighter. It doesn't add a lot of warmth, which is what I wanted. Another benefit is that it doesn't need ironing, even after washing. It's not a crisp look, lots of tiny wrinkles, but totally presentable. I bought the oversize queen, which has lots of ties inside (more than my comforter has loops for tying). It stays in place. I got the Peacock Blue. It's not as green as I had hoped, but definitely a nice color. ... show more

First let me say the material is nice and soft, but the color is way off. I ordered cream gray, and it’s not even in the gray family, it’s more of a beige/taupe color. I kept it because I needed something for the cold weather. I’ll continue my search for a gray duvet.

This burnt orange duvet cover is the perfect color! More brown than orange, great quality and fit my bed exactly as I wanted it too. I used a king size thick cotton quilt that I already had as the insert. I have a queen bed and I bought the larger size to fit the king size quilt.
