  • Don't hesistate
My factory arms were shot. These were an exact fit and went in very easily. The ball joint is a little stiff upon install due to having very little grease. You will need a grease gun to lube them after install. They use a 1/4" 28tpi grease fitting. It is included in the box. Seems to be the self tapping type but don't screw them in too tight. Takes a fair amount of grease to get them right but they work very well. ... show more

  • Great direct fit OEM quality part
I’ll start with, Im not a huge review writer however this Mogg control arm that I installed on my 2009 Silverado deserves a review. For one it shipped in one day which was awesome but most importantly the control arm was a perfect fit. It slid right into place and bolted up with no issues at all. My truck now drives amazing, it’s quiet, solid feeling and tracks straight. I would recommend buying the alignment camber bolts to go with it just incase. I broke a bolt in the process. ... show more

  • Perfect Fit for Chevy Suburban 5.3l 4WD, can't remember if it was 2008 or 2009.
I can't remember what Napa and some other stores were charging for these upper control arms but I replaced the entire front end on a Chevy Suburban and these control arms were an exact fit and much cheaper in price. These control arms have a grease/zerk fitting on them so make sure you have a grease gun. I use Royal Purple 01312 NLGI No. 2 High Performance Multi-Purpose Synthetic Ultra Performance grease to lubricate the joints. You should be able to replace these on most vehicles with not a lot of tools. You'll need tools such as 1/2 inch sockets, breaker bar, pry bar, rubber mallet and PB blaster. It's also helpful to put some grease on the bushings for easier installation. Of course after replacing the entire front end the Suburban was like a new truck again. Your results may vary. I think I charged my neighbor $1,400 for all of the work I did on his Suburban. I installed new upper and lower control arms, new wheel hubs, new outer tie rod ends, new front struts, new rear shocks and coils and new urethane front stabilizer bars. The brands I bought were Moog, Raybestos and Rancho 9000 series. All bought on Amazon for an amazing price. I've been working on cars as a side gig for fourteen years, all years, makes and models. I know which brands are junk and which ones are not and Moog is a very good brand for suspension parts. I do a lot of shopping around for car parts and the majority of the time Amazon has most auto part stores beat in price, for the same parts that is. So far no complaints from the owner. I uploaded a few pictures. ... show more

  • It comes very low on grease.
The product is Moog made in China, but seems to be of good quality. Caution: do not install before applying grease, the ball joint comes with only a pinch of dry consistency grease. Carefully remove the boot and see. Again: apply grease before installation on the car!
