There are two large pockets on the inside on one side and a large zipper pocket on the other side as well as a smaller zipper pocket on the outside. It zips closed and comes with a longer detachable strap as well as the small detachable handbag straps. Beautifully made and well stitched. The color is a rich brown and also looks very well. Very pretty bag. However the design is flawed. The shoulder strap is not adjustable and not removable. The bag all those sufficiently size does not open all the way up because of the Ring attached to both sides. So the bag only opens to the widest point in the center. The sides do not open up it actually restricts the opening on each Side by a minimum of 4 in or more. So if you were going to put anything that was wide in this bag it will not fit due to the restrictions on either side under the shoulder strap. Note that this is not real leather it is more a vegan leather. Not exactly sure how it will hold up since I just got it but again was quite frustrated at the restrictive opening on either side of the bag. Therefore this will not be able to hold my laptop nor my portfolio or notebooks. I'd return if it was more expensive ... show more
