I have always used Montana West purses. I can honestly say, this is by far the best one I have purchased, hands down! First, it's all real leather! I finally stopped purchasing their other ones because of the Faux Leather. All the edges would wear off and peal in the exact same places on all my purses and totes. So, I was thrilled to see this tote made of 100 % leather. I love the size, it's big and roomy with plenty of pockets inside and out and my 9mm has no problems fitting in the back concealed pocket. It also has a divider in the middle that zips and doesn't slouch down in the middle, it stands up and stays in place. All the zippers seem to be strong and durable with nice leather pulls on the ends. The front pocket with the antique bronze studs gives it just the right amount of that rustic flair without over doing it. The front pocket actually has a magnetic snap? I was so convinced the leather strap was functional? LOL. I really like the lining as well. It's a thicker fabric with a nice simple western print, which I prefer over the busy patterns. And last but not least, is the color! Wow! It's absolutely beautiful. You can see the different hues of colors running through it which gives it a deep rich look. I couldn't be happier. You just can't beat it for the price. The only thing they could do to make it better is, use thicker leather for the straps. Even if they do wear out, I will take it to a leather shop and have them replaced. Not a big deal breaker for me....I say, Go for it, you deserve it! :) ... show more

I bought this as a gift for a pistol packing mama because the purse has a compartment for a handgun. The interior of the bag is divided into 2 parts with a zipper pouch as a divider. The straps are long enough for a shoulder carry but short enough to hang on your arm. The recipient was blown away and loved it. I did, too. I may have to get one for me. I didn't care for the tassels but they can be easily removed to have a more conservative look. ... show more

I wanted the best conceal carry purse I could find that would still allow me the space needed to carry everything else I would normally keep in my. When I found this beautiful purse, the only thing that made me cautious about purchasing it was the few reviews I read that mentioned the straps pulling away. Well, I have been using my purse since March and it is holding up beautifully. I have stopped carrying AS much as I used to mainly for ease of comfort but this is a sturdy purse. When it first arrived, I was drawn to that fresh smell of leather. It is so well made. I appreciate that it is not apparent that a firearm is in the pocket. It is truly concealed. One extra thing I decided to do was order a set of low profile purse organizers. Beautiful leather purse! It’s the perfect size. My Glock 19 ( in holster) fits like a glove.and I have room for all my stuff! The tooling on the strap is gorgeous. The leather is sturdy and it’s well made. I’m very impressed. 10/10

The bag is beautiful and just the right size HOWEVER, the strap although tooled, wide and quit beautiful is so very STIFF. I can't get it to stay on my should and even when I do it is very uncomforable.
