Loaded with a Montana Cans Standard cap, these cans provide excellent delivery and reliability under medium pressure output. Not only are the colors ideal for application on functional objects such as bikes and furniture, they can also add a metallic flare to any creative or artistic project on paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic and other paintable materials. Made from an Acrylic-Nitro combination base, the paint surface dries to a durable semi-gloss finish which is both hard wearing when cured (24+ hours) as well as flexible. Offering great lightfastness, the Montana Cans METALLIC EFFECT line can also be combined with the Montana Cans GOLD, Montana Cans BLACK and Montana Cans ACRYLIC marker lines.

The advertised color palette shows a darker shade of the avocado, the cap top picutred is more accurate, and lighter and quick metallic / gold speckled. I did not like it. Purchased two cans, and not returns allowed. So I recommend buy one, test it out, then buy more if desired.

I bought the rose color hoping for the best. I did think it was a bit expensive for 1 can of spray paint, however after my project had dried, I now think it was worth the price. As I was spraying I was afraid it was too pink, however when it dried it was the perfect metallic rose color and I love it. Only 1 coat was needed whether the item was black or white. I was excited about this and used it on 1/8 plywood. I like the color of the gold, but it doesn't have enough sheen, it's more glittery. So the panel looks more yellow than gold. I went with Krylon instead, which I typically never use and that was better. I generally love Montana but it seems like they don't have a good 18-Karat Gold option (yellowish gold instead of orangish gold). Their other gold - which I really like - looks more like 24 Karat - a bit more orange and warm, which I didn't want to use for this project. ... show more
