Description

Provide IP67 level dust and water protection for musical instruments, Firearms, or tools using this customizable weatherproof hard case from Moonrise. The IP, or Ingress Protection, rating is a two digit value that indicates the level of protection provided by the cases. The IP67 rating of this case means that it provides complete protection against dust and other solid particles and that it can withstand up to 30 minutes of submersion in water at up to 1 meter depth. The case is constructed of impact and ultraviolet resistant polypropylene and has a fully customizable foam interior for superior shock protection. A pressure relief valve allows you to slowly and safely equalize the pressure inside and out.

What I really love about this hard case, the pluck foam was really easy to make a custom hole for my glass objects. I haven't been traveling with this yet, however I don't see anything bad in the future for this case. I would recommend this hard case for anybody that wants to transfer anything that is super fragile. I got some anti-static foam on the way, because I plan on using the one I just bought (I bought three so far including this one), for some very sensitive electronic equipment. With a $200 savings over the same sized pelican case, of course I purchased this. Fits an upper, lower, mags, lots of room. Basically has room for all the basics a prepper would want to stash. The case itself is solid, and has a pressure valve similar to a pelican case. It comes padded, with a ripple top and 1/2 in foam on the bottom glued to the case. I got this for a takedown rifle and a couple accessories. Anyone familiar with a Backpacker might be looking for this as a nice hard case for their own. This box is great for holding my four pistols and 15 magazines. The build quality is very nice with no sharp edges to cut your hands on. The foam is a pluck style foam which makes it easy to shape out whatever you want to put into the box. The box size is great for storing pistols standing upright. As for my pistols, they're placed in there with the magazine well facing down. Magazines are placed next to the corresponding pistols base side up, and the foam quality is nice which helps protect my stuff incredibly well.     • Works great for carrying a 10/22 takedown rifle.

I wanted a hard case for carrying a Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle with the Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock. It looked like the rifle would just barely fit, so I bought this. I figured it would work for GoPros and accessories if the rifle didn't fit. I was able to fit the rifle when broken down and snapped together in its storage configuration. I have a small scope on it, and there is room for the rifle with scope, a couple boxes of MiniMags, and some earplugs. I haven't tested the water resistance of the case, but it seems to seal tight. The price fluctuates quite a bit on this. I paid $70, but I've seen it go up to almost $90. Be patient if you want one, because the price will probably drop in a day or two. ... show more

This case is great.... but it won't fit the items I purchased it for. The dimensions listed are OUTSIDE measurements. What really matters when searching for a case are INSIDE measurements. The inside measurements for others out there for this case are: 20.5in long 10.875 wide 5in deep on bottom plus 1.875in deep lid. My item was 21.5in long and won't fit. ... show more
