I got the 3 carat/9mm solitaire style. I figured go big or go home! These moissanites are simply stunning. If you don't know much about moissanites, they are the closest you can get to a real diamond (and 15% lighter too!). They do occur naturally, but are rare, so most moissanites are simulated in a lab. I have much moissanite jewelry, and have to say the quality and sparkle of these are top-notch. They are way more beautiful than cubic zirconia and most people can't tell the different between a real diamond and a moissanite. I have several real diamonds as well and the way I tell the difference is these moissanites have a bit more sparkle and shine. The earring back is stamped S925, but the earring back is my only real complaint. I do not think they fit tightly enough, especially for the bigger 3 carat size. The latch feels a little loose so I wonder about eventually losing one. This set comes with a GRA report and card, and I got two, each with a different GRA identification number (I assume one for each stone?). If you're giving these as a gift you'll be excited to know they come with everything you need for beautiful gift wrapping: tissue, bag, ribbon, gift card & envelope, jewler's box, outer box, shipping box, polishing cloth w/instructions and GRA reports & cards. Moissanite is an amazing mineral that can actually occur naturally, and looks much like a diamond. These stud earrings are created with lab-formulated moissanite, I believe, but the result looks the same- sparkly, sensational, and oh, so easy to catch the light and make each part of the cut dance and shimmer. Each stones is set in sterling silver and surrounded by a halo of faux diamonds, giving forth a regal and romantic look. There are silver backings, which could be swapped for sensitive ear-friendly silicone stud backs, which I highly recommend. They are not too small, nor too large, and cover 95% of my ear lobe surface, which is the perfect size for me. Thank you for reading my review! I have diamond earrings but lost one and wanted a pair. I can use the single one in a single piercing I have. These earrings come in a box within a box within a box within a box. The packaging is no joke. It's a bit over the top but it is nice. The earrings are in an actual jewelry box when you get through all the other boxes surrounding it. This item includes everything you need to give these earrings as a gift. There is a report for each earring as well as a cleaning cloth and care instructions. I placed these earrings next to my .5 CT real diamonds and these moissanite studs are actually more sparkly. But not ridiculous fake sparkle like CZ. They look really nice. The 4 prong setting is not visible, which is nice. These earrings are a gorgeous substitute for diamonds. The negative I have about these earrings is that the backs and the posts are tarnished. I have plenty of silver plated items and none of them every tarnish. Especially right out of the box. That is disappointing. Thankfully those aren't visible when worn. I love these earrings and highly recommend them. Beware that they may be tarnished if you plan on giving them as a gift. The quality, packaging and price is great! ... show more

I guess I don't have a good comprehension of carats because these were much larger than I expected. But they do look good on my wife and with her Moissanite ring and tennis bracelet we have a very sophisticated set of jewelry that we can take with us when we travel. Giving a very upscale look without putting her real (and much more expensive) diamonds at risk. Unlike Cubic Zirconium if you put these side by side with the real thing even a fairly knowledgeable person is not going to be able to tell the difference. Nearly diamond hard on the MOHS scale these will do just about anything a diamond will do without showing scratches and wear. The brilliance, reflections and "fire" are very good! ... show more

This set of moissanite stud earrings are something special. The box it came in was so beautiful and elegant and all the certificates with the details of grade and workmanship was a nice addition, I felt like it was my Birthday! what a nice gift for myself. The stones are as brilliant, clear and mesmerizing just like a real diamond. I have to say, you can't tell the difference. I ordered the 2 carats, which might be too big for my ears, but I love them so much, I can't wait to wear them out. They feel lightweight on my ears, and the backing feels sturdy and secure.
