I have very sensitive, acne and clog prone skin. I also use a chemical exfoliant (Cosrx BHA liquid) and I wanted something that would soothe my skin. I bought this hoping for a more hydrating/lighter alternative to the benton steam cream, which is my normal night cream. I also wanted an affordable cream with ceramides and without silicones. I used a bunch of snail gels and creams, but this one has a very unique texture. It has a lot of "slip" to it. It has sort of a gel-cream texture, it's very light feeling on the skin. It has no scent, and all I need for my entire face and neck is about a dime size. If my skin is feeling particularity dry or sensitive, I allow the cream to sink in (about 10 seconds) and then apply another layer on top. I found it to be just as moisturizing as the benton steam cream, but without the heavy feeling. It also dries down to a semi matte finish, and doesn't leave me looking shiny or oily. When I started using this I noticed my skin had a brighter more even toned look with less redness. Usually when I wake up in the morning my skin feels a little dry and tight, due to my air conditioner. Since using this, I've had much less of that dry, itchy feeling in the morning. I've even applied this to a small patch of eczema, the next day it was much less red and irritated looking. Pros: Doesn't break me out Moisturizes without being too heavy Scentless, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, very soothing Doesn't clog my pores Light enough to use during the day, but moisturizing enough to use at night Works well under makeup, nice semi matte finish A little goes a long way Price is good for the size of jar Cons: If you apply too much, it can sometimes leave small white dried patches of cream on your face Jar is easily breakable (I dropped it after a few months) ... show more

    • Versatile product that truly works

Honestly this product is amazing, you just have to use it correctly. In my experience, many korean skincare products work best when LAYERED. If you're looking for extra deep hydration, perhaps overnight, apply several "skins" of this product. The magical thing about this cream is that you can layer and layer and it just keeps absorbing into your skin--no pilling, even when applied on top of most of my serums. Unlike my other creams, it doesn't leave a high shine after i apply several layers, so I don't have to sacrifice that extra hydrated feeling that I get with my nighttime routine just because I don't want my face to look shiny during the day. Skin type: extremely oily yet prone to a tight, dehydrated feeling Concerns: Acne, wrinkles appearing in forehead and around mouth, hyperpigmentation/melasma around mouth How I use this product: Twice a day I use a gentle chemical exfoliating toner to control my acne and help fade the scars I have on my cheeks. After that dries, I go right ahead with this cream. I typically apply 1-2 layers in the morning, and 2-4 with my nighttime routine if I want to be extra indulgent or my skin needs emergency hydration. It leaves my skin feeling very plump, and is a great quick fix for the days where the fine lines between my eyebrows are crinklier than usual. PRO TIPS: keep it in the fridge. the colder temperature will wake your skin up in the morning and soothe it at night. Also, "cream" is a misnomer; this is an extremely moisturizing product, but don't expect a firm, fluffy cream. For that same reason, I find that it's far easier to get the right amount, keep it from getting under my fingernails, and keep the jar sterile if I use a small spoon to scoop up the product. Long story short, I pretty much have every skin problem. This product definitely helps my wrinkles, soothes redness, and meets ALL my moisturizing needs, all while not upsetting my acne or clogging my pores. If you have acne, don't expect this product to fix it by itself, but DO use it to keep your skin from suffering the negative side effects of your other acne-fighting products. ... show more

I bought this hoping it would be my new holy grail. While it is not an HG, it is certainly nice to have. It is a very light cream, almost whipped due to it being 90% snail essence. + Feel great to put on + Works well with other products + Great for layering + Zero fragrance + Little goes a long way + Skin feels plump + Lovely packaging + Great for spring - Tiny jar - While the glass jar is very nice, it's fragile - Takes a while to soak in - Only use on dry skin - Not thick enough for winter I have a notably large face, and only needed two fingertips-full to cover the face, and one more to cover the throat/decolletage area. Being 0°F lately, I hoped this would be thicker. It's very light and airy, best suited for a more humid season. I applied two layers of it, and while it helped, it left a somewhat sticky texture on the skin. Turns out, the stickiness only happens when the skin is too wet; if applied to dry skin, it soaks up just fine. Bottom line: I would buy it again. ... show more

I really like this moisturizer, it’s very lightweight and great for summertime for my skin (combination skin). I will buy this regularly and would love to try this brands other products. Good price point and size should last daily use 3-4 months give or take.

I have been using this cream for my whole face including under my eyes for a couple of months but have not seen significant results. I have a few sun spots and larger pores that i was hoping it would help with but they look the same. Upon applying the cream, i feel an ever so slight tingle at times but no redness or irritation. It moisturizes pretty well and gives my skin a glow, but as soon as i wash my face, it looks the same as before. Not sure if i received a jar from a bad batch.
