  • Great value short cue if you completely rebuild it.
This is the best shorty cue, all you have to do is these 15 easy steps! 1. Unscrew the butt 2. Drill a 1/2" hole in the back 3. Fill the hole with weight with weights, then 4. Glue cap back on 5. Cut it in half 6. Drill a 5/16" hole in the center of each half 7. Cut the head off a 5/16" bolt 8. Screw the lag bolt into one half 9. Screw the other half onto the other side of the lag bolt 10. Sand the cue down to the bare particle board (not hardwood) 11. Paint it however you'd like 12. Find which way it isn't straight 13. Let it sit with some weights on it for a few weeks 14. Reflect on your life choices 15. Enjoy telling your friends how you saved $20 by making this stick awesome! Or you could save the 20+ hours spent on fixing this piece of junk and just buy a way better shorty cue. It may be easier to literally buy a wooden dowl and make it from scratch! ... show more

  • Quality? Feels handmade - by my deranged grandfather out of a tree branch and his whittling knife
Mizerak? I cannot believe this came highly recommended - if by “ONE PIECE” you mean many pieces put together to create one piece - maybe ... It actually reminds me of the free yard sticks they used to pass out at the Minnesota state fair (they were awesome) but imagine if you then took your Roy Rogers pocket knife and whittled it down in attempt to make a spear with a cardboard tip on the end so you didn’t poke your little brothers eye out— That’s about the quality of the pool cue - I am uncertain as to why there are so many 4&5 star reviews - am I the only one who’s sticks: Wobbled? Had flat spots? That felt as ‘unnatural’ as they did? Maybe! I’m not a very picky person - and I know you often get what you pay for - but this time - not even. ... show more

  • One is good but the other bad. On average = 2.5 Can't figure out how to put 2.5 so... 2 star.
I purchase 2 stick, one turns out alright but the other one not. Apparently, the two stick have a different shading of brown, I don't know why... (Good one = Darker, Bad one = Lighter) Both have equal length but the middle part Separating the middle is not even, this really bugs me Especially on display. (Can be seen in photo) The Good one have no problem, tiny and little bit of scratches and dents here and there, but no major problem, Very nice On the other hand, the bad have lots of dents and scratches throughout the entire stick, more on the top. Black and blue spots??? WTF, a pen marking!!! (A long one). I can't get rid of it. (Can be seen in photo) Other than that, it's okay, just looks really REALLY bad. (Total of 8 pictures) ... show more

  • Affordable, value great, but not an every day stick.
I had a 6 year old boy who wanted to start learning pool. Good strong athlete in general. However, He didn't understand any concepts of the game or how to hold the stick. Even the 18 I owned was too long and therefore had to much weight on the rear for him to really be able to learn how to hold the stick. Bought this one, and was really pleased with the value for under $10. But unfortunately after about a week, he dropped it and it broke in two. Was not misusing it, just dropped it, I saw it happen. So this is my warning, it's a neat stick for the money, but be careful. I am going to glue and tape it back together. I'm fairly handy. I debated returning/exchange it, but decided he needs to just put a better one on his Christmas list. Hope this gets by for a month till then and he can learn to play the game. The glue and tape worked great, it broke in half toward the middle, so it was fine to play with. He got one for Christmas and has a small stick for a freind that might want to play. ... show more

  • Great for price, tight spots. Tip could be better.
Perfect length. I'm 5'10" and after using this I believe a 36" would've been short for me for regular/horizontal shots. I bought this for to reasons, one for my kids and second for 2 tight spots where I have 41" between wall and pool tables outer edge. This one's perfect for my 8 year year old boys. Not just the length but also weight. The ones that came with board we're too heavy for them. Two complains I have are: 1. Tip was a little too flat, I'll have to sand it. 2. Weight is not enough for me/an-adult to use this as primary cue. Not enough juice for a good spread out beak. I'm no pro if course. ... show more

  • This "shorty" Cue is ideal for juniors or when space is an issue
Cue is well made, straight, and boy is it short (which is a good thing). It is also very light weight. Young players should have no trouble handling this cue, and because it is so short places where walls or other obstacles interfered with a shot can be made using this cue. It is a full foot and a half shorter than a standard 58" cue, which opens up a lot of shot lanes that were impeded by obstacles. The lightness of the cue (I'm guessing it is about a 11 or 12 weight) can be an issue for adults. ... show more

  • Not as advertised! This is not a leather tip
This is lightweight, I’ll give you that. We inherited a fooseball combo table and the cue that came with it was a mess so I grabbed this shortie to replace it. I figured it would be perfect. The tip is advertised as leather, it’s not. It’s wood. They have absolutely no quality control here. It came with a glob of hard glue stuck to the tip as well that I had to pick off. It was was leather, the leather would have come right off. It didn’t. It’s not leather. Nothing like some false advertising! ... show more

  • Good Enough
We ordered two of these cues for our collection, which in all honesty, is made up of mostly bar-quality cues in various weights and lengths. We spend a lot of time around our table as a family, but we're not particularly skilled pool players and don't take it all that seriously. That being said, the two we received are straight and the tips are fine. My elementary-aged daughter uses one as her primary cue, and we use the other with a bridge head, which is generally sufficient for our 7' table. I wasn't expecting high-quality gear for ten bucks, so I'm pleased with what we received. ... show more
