I would rate these straps a 4.5 stars actually. They are a nice set of cross tie straps. I snapped a photo of my other cross tie (dark blue) vs one of these (light blue). They appear to use the same nice heavy hardware & both have quality nylon. The major difference is my original ones are a double stitched layer of nylon; whereas these are a single. Nylon webbing is very strong, so these should still take a lot of force - even though they are a single nylon layer. We have well behaved horses (Quarter 14.2, 15.2 & a quarter pony at 13.2). We store our cross ties inside our barn so these should last a long time. Our original dark blue ones were purchased per each (not a pair) for about $5 less than this set of 2. Nice length adjustability and functioning hardware ends. The only downside is this single layer of nylon has the ability to twist on the panic clasp end - where my original thicker ones do not - so, a quick check to make sure they aren’t twisted and you’re good to go. I love the color of the cross ties, they are very strong and well made. The clips are thick and secure, they are easy to open but won't come open on their own. I got these for when I clean and brush a horse, they work well and are very strong.

These heavy duty nylon cross ties are pretty decent. The nylon is slightly thin, but the snaps are heavy duty and work well. I do like that I am able to adjust the length as needed.
