The hat really protected my son and I during a scout summer camp this past week. The heat index hit 121 and the hat was instrumental in keeping us cool and blocked the sun. I like the snaps on the sides to secure the rim of the hat. If I had one improvement to suggest I would say I wish the rim of the hat was a little more firm and not as floppy. It would fall in front of our faces and obstruct our ability to see.

This does work as advertised. Definitely keeps my head cooler when I'm out bushhogging on the tractor out in the sun and heat after I've gotten it wet in cool water. I don't recall how long it stayed cool after getting it wet the first time but it definitely lasted quite a while.

I bought this to replace two hats I wore while walking and hiking with my pup that I almost lost due to wind. The main features I liked about this hat was the advertised drawstring & cooling band .. it gets hot here in the desert. I couldn't believe how light it felt, yet how well it fit and comfortable it is. I did modify it a little by adding a patch. I would recommend to anyone who hikes or does a lot of walking.

Hat is very light weight. Some cons: isn’t adjustable, and is a tad big for my head. Floppier brim than I anticipated. Wish the brim was sturdier. Great cooling sun hat overall for Florida heat.

I enjoy wearing my hat and keep it in my car for when I’m out and about because I cannot be in the sun. I wish the brim were a bit sturdier. Overall, it does what it needs to. The cooling is okay. It isn’t like it’s cooling through the whole top of the hat, rather it’s the lining where the brim and the bucket part meet.

I just got this and day 1, I soaked it and wore it for my work outside in 100 degree plus heat and it worked great! I'm not sure why it took me so long to order one! But I will definitely wear it for hot weather and for fishing or any outside activity! I definitely recommend this product!
