  • HOLY GRAIL FOR 10 YEARS
Color: No.13 (Bright Beige)
I've been using this product for over 10 years now and I absolutely love it, it's my go-to redhead pale girl foundation. Every time I try a different product I just end up switching back to this one immediately. HIGHLIGHTS - - It's been consistent for over 10 years and stayed cheap and easy to find (although I'm super paranoid about running out so I stockpile a little). Amazon always has it for around 15 dollars (although you have to be wary of getting counterfeit/imitation products), or you can get it from the Missha US store for around 25 dollars (they have lots of sales so you can often get it for similar prices to Amazon if you watch for them). - One tube lasts FOREVER, like over 6 months with generous daily wear. The pump system lets you get literally every drop out of it too, I use mine until they are twisted up like the picture. This twisted up empty tube was still giving me full pumps. It's crazy. You can get an empty BB cushion and pump it into that for cushion application & higher coverage, but the cushion will not have the same level of longevity since some product will always stay in the cushion. - The coverage is medium-sheer and buildable with neutral undertones. I have sensitive skin that gets red really easily and the neutral tone and skincare ingredients provide a good amount of color correction and soothing action. It's a water based formula that does tend to patch and cling on dry skin so you should do some prep on the driest areas of your face, but paired with a water based primer and/or moisturizer it's perfect. The Milk hydro grip primer works particularly well for more made-up looks, and Missha's BB boomer is great for a your-skin-but-better glowy finish. It's a very low-maintenance foundation, I just apply it over primer with my fingers and it looks flawless. The medium-sheer tone also lets your skin tone through a bit more, making it more forgiving when it comes to color matching. - The high level mineral SPF provides daily wear sun protection and largely prevents new freckles and sun spots from popping up, especially when paired with a second SPF that you reapply throughout the day. Since starting to use this product, my skin has noticeably less sun damage and I have not gotten a single sunburn on my face. Not once in 10 years. Despite being a mineral SPF base, I haven't noticed a white cast or chalky finish. However, I am extremely pale, so probably not the best judge. I've also tried the next shade up, #21, and beyond being too dark for me it has a very cool almost gray cast to it. This shade has a much brighter tone that I find more flattering. - The skincare ingredients slowly lighten patchy skin, scars, and dark areas. A WORD OF WARNING: this will both mask your freckles and lighten them over time. If you want to keep your freckles dark, this is not your product. It will never completely get rid of your freckles or dark patches but it does help even out your skintone with repeated use. This is something I was looking for, since I live in a cold area without much sun in the winter and the only place my freckles get really prominent is my face. If you want truly sheer coverage that leaves your freckles alone, a tinted moisturizer by an American company is probably a better bet. ... show more

  • Best stuff ever
Color: No.13 (Bright Beige)
41 year old redhead here, with the accompanying sensitive pale skin, freckles, and redness making it near impossible to find an affordable foundation that actually works. Well here it is. I got number 13 and it blends into my skin well, and a very thin layer (just one pump) neutralizes just enough so that I have pleasantly cheeks instead of redness all over. It can be very full coverage with just a little bit more, but I like it more sheer. It plays nice with my skincare and stays on well over my sunscreen. I have dry skin, and this doesn't make it worse or get patchy later in the day (obviously I moisturize before putting it on, but my old foundation would look dry despite the skin prep beforehand). I don't use concealer anymore either-- just a dab of this and a drop of setting spray works great. I like that I can apply it with my fingers or a sponge and it looks great either way-- pretty foolproof and not fiddly. 27/10 will keep buying. ... show more

  • No.13 is the bb cream/foundation I've spent years looking for!
Color: No.13 (Bright Beige)
Here's what I have going against me: I hit 60 this past spring, I'm a fading redhead, I have large pores, and I never fussed with skincare until a few years ago (but at least I've had minimal sun exposure these past couple of decades) so wrinkles are here to stay. Whatever I put on my face has always, always, ALWAYS looked wrong on me. The color is too much or the coverage is too much or not enough. Makeup and I have had a very tense relationship. In recent years, I've had to learn the hard way that it's best to forget trying to hide wrinkles and instead opt for a lighter, softer and brighter texture. Missha No.13 is exactly what I've been looking for! Goes on so easily and covers just as fully as a high-coverage foundation without any caking. It also doesn't make my underlayer of sunscreen pill up. I'm so thrilled with this BB cream and wish I'd discovered it long ago. Pic is of me with the BB cream and a super light dusting of translucent powder (because "dewy" on me usually looks sweaty or greasy so I like to knock that back a bit). I'll add an outdoor photo later for a harsher natural light evaluation, but I have to brace myself for that... outdoor pics take courage, haha. ... show more

  • Sensitive skin and eyes friendly!
Color: No.23 (Natural Beige)
I have tried so many tinted sunscreen’s, BB creams regular facial sunscreens and foundations. It’s actually a little embarrassing how much I’ve spent. I can see how this product might not be for everyone because of the color matching. However, if you find yourself able to color match with this product BUY IT. There is no smell, it doesn’t burn my eyes or skin like some sunscreen, products, and the texture is beautiful. The only thing I will say is that you can definitely feel it on the skin. But if you’re layering on sunscreen and then foundation, it’s gonna feel like you’re a product on your skin, so this isn’t really any different. ... show more

  • THE SEARCH IS OVER FOR THE BEST BB CREAM!
Color: No.21 (Light Beige)
I got the shade 21! With such a low price, I thought I’d give it a shot and boy am I glad I did! It looked grey when I first applied it, but then it melted and blended beautifully into my skin and gave me a radiant glow. I’m 30 years old and I have combination skin (oily and dry) with fine lines under my eyes and on my forehead and this BB cream definitely helps diminish and blur. I suggest using a light or translucent setting powder after (I use NO. 7 Life And Luminate Setting Powder) for the shine and airbrush-look! So happy with this purchase!! ... show more

  • Good product for the price.
Color: Caramel Beige
I started buying this BB cream sometime during the pandemic because it was cheap and had SPF. It is a lot cheaper than, for example, the la roche posay tinted sunscreen. But, I noticed that in hot, humid weather (SE USA), it would kind of congeal on my face. It was best used in Fall/Winter. Fast forward to 2023, and I am still purchasing it (because it is inexpensive), but I think they changed the formula (for the better!)! I now wear it on the hottest days of the year... no congealing despite my oily skin! It seems to be a smoother, creamier texture. I will continue to purchase this product. I hope they keep the formula the same. (PS. It's ~$10 on iHerb.com.) ... show more
